Ambo University ( am, አምቦ ዩኒቨርሲቲ; om, Yunivarsiitii Amboo) is a national university in Ambo, Oromia Region, Ethiopia. It is approximately west of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Ministry of Education admits qualified students to Ambo University based on their score on the Ethiopian Higher Education Entrance Examination (EHEEE). Ambo, Ethiopia
Ambo ( om, Amboo) is a town in west-central Ethiopia. Located in the West Shewa Zone of Oromia Region, west of Addis Ababa, this town has a latitude and longitude of and an elevation of 2,101 meters. Ambo is known for its mineral water, which is bottled outside of town; it is reportedly the most popular brand in Ethiopia. Nearby attractions include Mount Wenchi to the south with its crater lake, and the Guder and Huluka Falls. Guder
Guder is a town located in the West Shewa Zone of the Oromia of Ethiopia. Located 12km west of Ambo, this town has a latitude and longitude of , with an elevation of 2101 meters above sea level. Guder is famous for its Guder River Falls and year-round fruit production, using plentiful water resources in the vicinity.
