The Ozark bass (''Ambloplites constellatus'') is a species of freshwater fish in the sunfish family (Centrarchidae) of order Perciformes. It is native only to the White River, Sac River, James River, and Pomme de Terre river drainages of Missouri and Arkansas.the species is commonly referred to as “goggle-eye”. Robert C. Cashner is an American ichthyologist and retired academic administrator. He was the first to describe the Stippled studfish (''Fundulus bifax'') and the bluefin stoneroller (''Campostoma pauciradii''). In humans and most mammals and birds, the iris (plural: ''irides'' or ''irises'') is a thin, annular structure in the eye, responsible for controlling the diameter and size of the pupil, and thus the amount of light reaching the retina. Bull Shoals Lake is an artificial lake or reservoir in the Ozark Mountains of northern Arkansas and southern Missouri. It has hundreds of miles of lake arms and coves, and common activities include boating, water sports, swimming, and fishing. Nineteen developed parks around the shoreline provide campgrounds, boat launches, swim areas, and marinas.
