Sarah Louise Palin (; Heath; born February 11, 1964) is an American politician, commentator, author, and reality television personality who served as the ninth governor of Alaska from 2006 until her resignation in 2009. Jerry Carroll (born 1959) is an American comedian, speaker and farmer based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Also known as ''The Willow Spring Wildman'', Carroll is best known for his role as co-host on television's "Amazing America with Sarah Palin". Carroll started his career as a comedian in 1993 after working as a full-time farmer for several years. He has opened concerts for several music artists including Michael Bolton, Patty Loveless, Lyle Lovett, and Larry Gatlin.
