Amar Te Duele
''Amar te duele'' (Spanish for: "Loving Hurts You", also interpreted as "Loving You Hurts” ) is a 2002 Mexican romantic drama film written by Carolina Rivera and directed by Fernando Sariñana. In the story, two families hate each other because they belong to different social classes. This movie offers various archetypes of urban and modern youth in Mexico within a story about sexual attraction and adolescent idealism. The movie marked the film debuts of Martha Higareda and RBD member Alfonso Herrera; the film also was starred by Pedro Damián and Luis Fernando Peña. Martha Higareda
Martha Elba Guadalupe Higareda Cervantes () (born August 24, 1983) is a Mexican actress, producer and screenwriter. Life and career Higareda was born in Villahermosa, Tabasco, Mexico, the daughter of actress Martha Cervantes and artist and therapist Jose Luis Higareda, and sister of actress Miriam Higareda. She began acting on the stage at a very early age, along with dancing jazz, flamenco, tap and folklore. At 14, she moved to Mexico City from her native Tabasco to pursue an acting career. ''Naco'' (fem. ''naca'') is a pejorative word often used in Mexican Spanish that may be translated into English as "low-class", "uncultured", "vulgar" or "uncivilized ". A ''naco'' () is usually associated with lower socio-economic classes. Definition and usage The Cuban lexicographer Felix Ramos y Duarte, in his ''Diccionario de Mejicanismos'' (1895), records the word for the first time. He explains it as usual in Tlaxcala (Mexico) and defines it with the following terms: "Indian dressed in blue cotton, white underpants and guaraches".
