Hugo Sofovich
Hugo Alberto Sofovich (December 18, 1939 – January 12, 2003) was an Argentine film director and screenwriter. Although predominantly a screenwriter, Sofovich directed 15 films and script write over 20 films during his career, directed and writing films such as '' Amante para dos'' in 1988. In the late 1990s he write several scripts for Argentine television. He died in 2003 from pancreatic cancer. He was the brother of Gerardo Sofovich. Alberto Olmedo
Alberto Olmedo (24 August 1933 – 5 March 1988) was an Argentine comedian and actor, popularly regarded as one of the most important comedians in the history of his country, for his outstanding work in television, cinema and theater. Olmedo was born in the city of Rosario. In his teens, he was a gifted gymnast and an aspiring actor who tried his luck with several amateur theater companies and enjoyed some local success. Olmedo moved to Buenos Aires in 1954. One year later, while working as a technician in Canal 7, Argentina's first television station, his improvisation skills caught the attention of the management, who gave him acting jobs in several TV shows. While Olmedo had a string of successful children's programs during the 1960s, he gained the most notoriety when given the opportunity to mix slapstick, nonsense and adult-oriented entertainment. Mauricio Borensztein (27 April 1927 – 11 January 1996), known by the stage name ''Tato Bores'', was an Argentine film, theatre and television comedian, who specialized in political humor. His ironic TV monologues, delivered at a fast pace, became a reference point for generations of Argentines. Biography He was born into a family of Polish Jewish heritage. He took his first steps into the humor field in 1957, after the fall of Juan Perón, debuting in state-owned Channel 7. When in character, he wore dress coat, white bow tie and a deliberately badly cut wig, and waved a cigar. Besides the monologues, at some point during each show he pretended to dial the number of the Casa Rosada and speak to the President (whoever it was at the time), asking pointed questions or commenting on uncomfortable news.
