Amanmyrat Hallyyev
Amanmyrat Hallyyev ( tk, Amanmyrat Hallyýew) is a lawyer and former Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan. Career In July 2006, Hallyyev was appointed state prosecutor for Mary Province; earlier, he was a prosecutor for the Bereket District of Balkan Province. On 31 August 2013, Hallyyev was appointed Prosecutor General by President Berdimuhamedow; he replaced Yaranmurad Yazmuradov, who was removed from office on grounds of inefficiency and facilitation of illicit drugs trade. After a tenure of about three years, on 4 May 2017, Hallyyev was removed for failing to prevent bribery in prosecutorial services, and Batyr Atdayev Batyr Atdayev ( tk, Batyr Taganowiç Atdaýew) is the incumbent Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers for Trade, Textile Industry, and Entrepreneurship. Prosecutor General Of Turkmenistan
The Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan ( tk, Türkmenistanyň Baş Prokurory), also referred to as the Attorney General, is the chief prosecutor and attorney of Turkmenistan. The incumbent takes part in all civil and criminal matters in which the government has an interest. The prosecutor general reports directly to the President of Turkmenistan and leads the Office of the Prosecutor General of Turkmenistan, which is part of the Ministry of Justice. The prosecutor general also sits on the State Security Council of Turkmenistan.
