Amanda Winn Lee
Amanda Winn-Lee is an American semi-retired voice actress, ADR director and script writer who works mainly on anime dubs. She was the voice of Mimiru in '' .hack//SIGN'', Rally Vincent in ''Gunsmith Cats'', Yohko Mano in ''Devil Hunter Yohko'', Momiji Kushinada in ''Blue Seed'' and was featured most notably as Rei Ayanami of '' Neon Genesis Evangelion'' fame. Aside from voice work she quite often handles production, ADR direction and the scripting of various projects for her dubbing company Gaijin Productions, LLC. She has also been credited as Amanda Winn, before she was married. Career She can be heard in the commentary for the Region 1 ''The End of Evangelion'' DVD along with fellow voice actors Taliesin Jaffe and husband/Gaijin co-owner Jaxon Lee. Charles Forrest "Spike" Spencer (born December 21, 1968) is an American voice actor and columnist best known for dubbing Japanese anime films. He is known for his roles in ADV Films dubs of ''Neon Genesis Evangelion'' as Shinji Ikari, ''Martian Successor Nadesico'' as Akito Tenkawa, and ''Excel Saga'' as Gojo Shioji. Spencer is well-known for playing the English-version voice of Japanese Anime character Ginta Toramizu (虎水ギンタ ''Toramizu Ginta'') from the ''MÄR'' series. He has also performed voice acting for radio, especially commercials. His anime character voices tend to be either for timid, shy, or weak characters, or for eccentric and comical ones. ''Burn-Up W'' is a 1996 anime OVA directed by Hiroshi Negishi. It was soon followed by a series version called ''Burn-Up Excess'', though it occasionally lacks continuity with the series. The OVA consists of four episodes, chronicling Team Warrior through more missions. Like the original series, there is still a large amount of fan service. Plot Burn Up W is about the adventures of Team Warrior, a band of highly skilled and completely reckless female cops. The team features the loose cannon Rio, trigger-happy Maya and ace hacker Lilica, who get the job done, regardless of the cost to the Tokyo Police Department or the city. ''Burn Up!'' is a 1991 Japanese anime original video animation. It concerns a special group of police officers called Team Warrior who are often given special assignments in the police department. In North America, AnimEigo first released Burn Up! on VHS in 1992 in Japanese with English subtitles. An English dub of the OVA was produced in 1994 by ADV Films, and was released on VHS that year. In 2005, ADV Films released the OVA on DVD. The DVD also contains the English dub. In 2009, Sentai Filmworks re-released the OVA on DVD. Plot Police Officers Maki, Reimi and Yuka are stuck on traffic patrol when they would prefer to be involved in more "exciting" police duties.
