Amanda Sasek
Amanda Jaeger (born March 12, 1991) is an American beauty pageant titleholder, news reporter, and TikTok star from Moberly, Missouri, who was crowned Miss Kansas 2014. She competed for the Miss America 2015 title in September 2014. Early life and education Jaeger is a native of Moberly, Missouri and the daughter of Jon and Michelle Brooks. She graduated from the University of Central Missouri in 2013. While at UCM, she was named the top female undergraduate and maintained a 4.0 GPA. She then went on to the University of Kansas to pursue a Master of Arts in political science. Pageant career Miss Missouri A native Missourian, Jaeger competed at Miss Missouri for three years. She held the Missouri titles of Miss Moberly 2010, Miss Midland Empire 2012, and Miss Heartland 2013. The Miss Kansas competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the US state of Kansas in the Miss America pageant. Kansas has won the Miss America crown on three occasions. Ayanna Hensley of Dodge City was crowned Miss Kansas 2022 on June 11, 2022 at Dennis Lesh Sports Arena at Pratt Community College in Pratt. She competed for the title of Miss America 2023 at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Connecticut in December 2022. Hannah Marie Wagner is an American dancer, choreographer, and beauty pageant titleholder from Wichita, Kansas, who was crowned Miss Kansas 2015. She competed for the Miss America 2016 title in September 2015. Theresa Marie Vail (born October 1, 1990) is Miss Kansas 2013. She subsequently placed in the top ten of the Miss America 2014 pageant, where she became the first contestant to openly display tattoos (during the swimsuit competition) and won the "America's Choice" award. Vail later hosted programs for the Outdoor Channel. Background Vail graduated in 2009 from Leavenworth High School, Leavenworth, Kansas.
