Amalgam (dentistry)
Dental amalgam is a liquid Mercury (element), mercury and metal alloy mixture used in dentistry to dental filling, fill cavities caused by tooth decay. Low-copper amalgam commonly consists of mercury (element), mercury (50%), silver (~22–32%), tin (~14%), zinc (~8%) and other trace metals. Dental amalgams were first documented in a Tang Dynasty medical text written by Su Gong (苏恭) in 659, and appeared in Germany in 1528. In the 1800s, amalgam became the dental restorative material of choice due to its low cost, ease of application, strength, and durability. In July 2018 the EU prohibited amalgam for dental treatment of children under 15 years and of pregnant or breastfeeding women. History of use There are, according to Geir Bjørklund, indications that dental amalgam was used in the first part of the Tang Dynasty in China (AD 618–907), and in Germany by Strockerus in about 1528. Evidence of a dental amalgam first appears in the Tang Dynasty medical text ''Xinxiu ben ...

Metals are typicall .... It may be a liquid, a soft paste or a solid, depending upon the proportion of mercury. These alloys are formed through metallic bonding, with the electrostatic attractive force of the conduction electrons working to bind all the positively charged metal ions together into a Crystal structure, crystal lattice structure. Almost all metals can form amalgams with mercury, the notable exceptions being iron, platinum, tungsten, and tantalum. Silver-mercury amalgam (dentistry), amalgams are important in dentistry, and gold-mercury amalgam is used in the Gold extraction, extraction of gold from ore. Dentistry has used alloys of mercury with metals such as silver, copper, indium, tin a ...

Amalgam Comics
Amalgam Comics was a collaborative publishing imprint shared by DC Comics and Marvel Comics, in which the two comic book publishers merged their characters into new ones (e.g., DC Comics' Batman and Marvel Comics' Wolverine become the Amalgam Comics character the Dark Claw). These characters first appeared in a series of 12 one-shot comic books which were published in April 1996, between ''Marvel vs. DC'' #3 and ''DC vs. Marvel'' #4, the last two issues of the ''DC vs. Marvel'' crossover event. A second set of 12 one-shots followed one year later in June 1997, but without the crossover event as a background. All 24 of these one-shots chronologically occurred between the aforementioned issues of ''DC vs. Marvel''. ''The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe: Alternate Universes 2005'' designated the Amalgam Universe as Earth-9602 in the Marvel Multiverse.Page 436 of the book ''The Essential Wonder Woman Encyclopedia'' (2015) by Phil Jimenez and John Wells (under the entry " ...

Undertale Soundtrack
''Undertale Soundtrack'' (stylized as ''UNDERTALE Soundtrack'') is a soundtrack album by Toby Fox, released in 2015 for the video game ''Undertale''. Development The game's soundtrack was entirely composed by Fox with FL Studio. A self-taught musician, he composed most of the tracks with little iteration; the game's main theme, "Undertale", was the only song to undergo multiple iterations in development. The soundtrack was inspired by music from Super NES role-playing games—such as ''EarthBound'' and ''Live A Live''—bullet hell series ''Touhou Project'', the chiptune band Anamanaguchi, as well as the webcomic ''Homestuck'', for which Fox provided some of the music. Fox also stated that he tries to be inspired by all music he listens to, particularly those in video games. According to Fox, over 90% of the songs were composed specifically for the game. "Megalovania" (stylized as "MEGALOVANIA"), the song used during the boss battle against Sans, had previously been used ...
