Amada Ortiz
Amada MarÃa OrtÃz is an Ecuadorian politician who is an independent member of the National Assembly of Ecuador representing the Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas Province. She was a member of the Democratic Left until 2021. Life Ortiz studied law at the Private Technical University of Loja and then completed her master's degree at the Universidad Regional Autónoma de los Andes. In 2019 she was a Councilor in the Municipal GAD of Santo Domingo and in 2021 Ortiz was elected to the National Assembly to represent the Democratic Left party and the Province of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas. The other assemblymen (sic) from her province are Jose Ricardo Chavez Valencia, Gruber Cesario Zambrano Azua and Rebeca Viviana Veloz Ramirez. On 18 May 2021 the leader of the Democratic Left disassociated Ortiz from the party. National Assembly Of Ecuador
The National Assembly ( es, Asamblea Nacional) is the unicameral legislature of Ecuador. It replaced the National Congress in 2009 following reforms under the 2008 Constitution. The current President of the Assembly is Virgilio Saquicela since 31 May 2022. Within Ecuador, the National Assembly has the power to pass laws, while appointment of judges to the National Court of Justice is done by a separate Judicial Council. Marjorie de Los Angeles Chavez Macias became an Ecuadorian National Assembly (Ecuador), National Assembly member in 2021. She was re-elected in 2023. Life Chávez is a lawyer and she has two university degrees. She has worked as the head of a number of organisations and in 2017 she began work as an advisor in the National Assembly. In 2019 she had been the National Deputy Director of Information and Institutional Promotion working for the Council of the Judiciary. She was elected in 2021 to the National Assembly to represent Pichincha Province. She is a member of the Social Christian Party (Ecuador), Social Christian Party. Ana Cecilia Herrera Gómez is an Ecuadorian politician who was elected to the National Assembly of Ecuador. She was re-elected in 2023. Life Herrera represents the province of Cotopaxi at the National Assembly of Ecuador. She occupies seat number 31. In November 2021 she was one of the 81 politicians who abstained which allowed the Economic Development and Fiscal Sustainability Law to be passed. Pamela Alejandra Aguirre Zambonino (born December 22, 1984) is an Ecuadorian lawyer and politician. In May 2017, she became a Member of the Andean Parliament, by popular election with 2,669,238 votes nationwide. In 2019 she was the vice-presidenr of the Andean Parliament's Second Commission of Education, Culture, Science, Information Technology, and Communication. Femicide or feminicide is a hate crime which is broadly defined as "the intentional killing of women or girls because they are female," but definitions of it vary depending on cultural context. In 1976, the feminist author Diana E. H. Russell first defined the term as "the killing of females by males because they are female."
