Amaayakuraalu
''Amayakuralu'' () is a 1971 Indian Telugu-language drama film, produced by D. Madhusudhana Rao under Annapurna Pictures and directed by V. Madhusudhana Rao. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Kanchana, Sharada and music composed by S. Rajeswara Rao. The film won the Nandi Award for Third Best Feature Film. Plot The film begins with a couple, Shekar & Shobha, engaging their daughter Jyothi with her love interest, Bhaskar. During that time, Bhaskar's mother detects that Jyothi is not their own and accuses her mother of having shame when Shekar spins rearward. His maternal uncle, Bhushaiah, raised Shekar, who aspires to knit him with his cousin Radha. However, his shrew wife Kantamma opposes it as Shekar is needy. Later, Shekar acquires a job in a company owned by Ananda Rao, and his daughter Shobha loves him. Sulakshana is an Indian actress who has performed in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada films and serials. Raavi Kondala Rao (11 February 1932 – 28 July 2020) was an Indian actor, screenwriter, playwright, and journalist who worked in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acted in over 400 films. Pithapuram Nageswara Rao (5 May 1930 – 5 March 1996) was an Indian playback singer who worked in the early period of Telugu cinema. He sang thousands of songs, mostly of a comedic nature, in the 1950s and 1960s along with Madhavapeddi Satyam and others. He also sang for a couple of movies in Kannada. C. Nagabushanam (19 April 1921 – 5 May 1995) was an Indian actor known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He acted in more than 350 films from the 1950s to the 1980s. Kosaraju Raghavayya (23 June 1905 – 27 October 1987), known mononumously by his surname Kosaraju, was an Indian lyricist and poet known for his works in Telugu cinema. Dasaradhi Rangacharya (24 August 1928 – 8 June 2015), also spelled Dasarathi Rangacharya, was an Indian poet and writer in Telugu language.
