Alyson Avenue
Alyson Avenue is a melodic rock band from Helsingborg, Sweden. The band was formed by keyboardist Niclas Olsson along with then bassist Thomas Lyöskä, the band was originally fronted by a male vocalist until 1995 when back-up singer Anette Olzon became a permanent member and lead vocalist. Their musical style is described as AOR and melodic rock. History Alyson Avenue was formed in 1989 by a couple of friends who intended to play melodic rock in the way Treat and Europe amongst others did. At that time Alyson Avenue had a male vocalist. Anette Olzon was taken in to the band as a back-up singer, but did a great job on a demo recording, and then became a permanent member soon after the band was founded. With a female vocalist, the band's sound was to be compared with that of Heart and Robin Beck. Brian David Robertson (born 12 February 1956) is a Scottish rock guitarist,Byrne, Alan ''Thin Lizzy, Soldiers of Fortune'', Firefly Publishing, November 2005 pp. 51 & 56 best known as a former member of Thin Lizzy and Motörhead. Early life Robertson was born in Clarkston, Renfrewshire (now part of East Renfrewshire), where he was educated, attending Eastwood High School in nearby Newton Mearns, and became a musician. ''Omega'' is the second studio album by Alyson Avenue, and the band's final album with lead vocalist Anette Olzon. It was released on May 6, 2004, by the label AOR Heaven. It was re-released on July 14, 2009, along with their first album ''Presence of Mind''. Anette Ingegerd Olsson (born 21 June 1971), known by the stage name Anette Olzon, is a Swedish singer, best known as the former lead vocalist of Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish from 2007 to 2012. She is also the vocalist of Swedish classic rock band Alyson Avenue, and of the Finnish heavy metal band The Dark Element. Fredrik Bergh (born 22 April 1975) is a former professional tennis player from Sweden. Bergh, a doubles specialist, appeared in five Grand Slam tournaments. Danger Danger is an American glam metal band formed in Queens, New York, in 1987. History Danger Danger was formed in 1987 by former Hotshot members lead vocalist Mike Pont, bassist Bruno Ravel (born 1964), and drummer Steve West (born 1964). This lineup also featured then future Hotshot guitarist Al Pitrelli (born 1962) and the former keyboardist of Jazz/Rock/Fusion group Get With It, Kasey Smith (born 1960). Mike Pont later left the band and was replaced by Ted Poley (born 1962), who previously played in the band Prophet as drummer, and sometimes lead vocalist. Robert Marcello (born Robert Wendelstam Lovbom, September 9, 1977, Örebro, Sweden) is a neoclassical metal, rock and jazz/fusion guitar player who replaced Andy Timmons as the lead guitarist of the band Danger Danger in 2003. Kee Marcello, his brother, was guitarist of Europe band. He has also played in the bands Ironhorse, Obsession, Twenty 4 Seven, and Marcello-Vestry. In late 2009 he was also a stand-in guitarist in the 1980s band House of Lords.
