Aly Muldowney
Alastair William "Aly" Muldowney (born 3 August 1983) is an English-born professional rugby union player. He is a versatile forward, being able to play in both the Second row (rugby union), second row and as a Flanker (rugby union), flanker. Muldowney currently plays for Gallagher Premiership club Bristol Bears. Club career Early career Muldowney was a late starter in rugby, opting to play basketball and Soccer, football at a young age instead. His first rugby club was Stafford RFC and his second club was Stourbridge RFC, Stourbridge, playing in the National League 1. From there Muldowney was signed by RFU Championship side Moseley rugby, Moseley. Following his spell at Moseley he was scouted by Scottish club Glasgow Warriors. Glasgow Warriors Muldowney played his first game for Glasgow Warriors, Glasgow on 3 September 2010 in a 2010–11 Celtic League match with Leinster Rugby, Leinster. Stafford
Stafford () is a market town and the county town of Staffordshire, in the West Midlands region of England. It lies about north of Wolverhampton, south of Stoke-on-Trent and northwest of Birmingham. The town had a population of 70,145 in the 2021 census, It is the main settlement within the larger borough of Stafford which had a population of 136,837 (2021). History Stafford means "ford" by a staithe (landing place). The original settlement was on a dry sand and gravel peninsula that offered a strategic crossing point in the marshy valley of the River Sow, a tributary of the River Trent. There is still a large area of marshland north-west of the town, which is subject to flooding and did so in 1947, 2000, 2007 and 2019.
