"Always Like This" is the second single from Bombay Bicycle Club, and the first from their debut album ''I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose''. The single was released on 13 April 2009 and is available on 7" vinyl, 12" vinyl and download. The single was produced by Jim Abbiss, and the limited 12" includes remixes by Tim Goldsworthy and James Rutledge. Bombay Bicycle Club
Bombay Bicycle Club are an English indie rock band from Crouch End, London, consisting of Jack Steadman, Jamie MacColl, Suren de Saram, and Ed Nash. They are guitar-fronted and have experimented with different genres, including folk, electronica, world music and indie rock. The band were given the opening slot on 2006's V Festival after winning a competition. They subsequently released two EPs and their debut single " Evening/Morning". Since then, the band has released five albums including '' So Long, See You Tomorrow'' which topped the album charts in February 2014. ''I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose'' is the first album by the London indie rock band, Bombay Bicycle Club released on 3 July 2009. The band announced the title through MySpace and their official website on 31 March 2009. The album was recorded during October and November 2008, with the long-term producer Jim Abbiss. The title comes from a line in the song "After Hours" by A Tribe Called Quest, from their 1990 album ''People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm''. Post-punk revival (also known as garage rock revival,J. Stuessy and S. D. Mr Jukes
Jack Steadman (born 1989 or 1990), also known by his stage name Mr Jukes (stylised in lowercase), is an English singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer best known as the vocalist and primary songwriter of the indie rock band Bombay Bicycle Club since its formation in 2005. He released his debut album as Mr Jukes, ''God First'', in 2017. Background Bombay Bicycle Club announced a hiatus in January 2016 as the band members had decided to pursue their own individual projects. Steadman had embarked on a round-the-world trip without flying and recording his solo album. In Shanghai, Steadman boarded a cargo ship and set up a studio in his cabin and began writing his solo album. The name Mr Jukes comes from a character in Joseph Conrad's ''Typhoon'' named Jukes, who was second in command on a ship heading into a typhoon. Jim Abbiss is a British music producer, best known for his work on records including the debut album of Editors ('' The Back Room''), Arctic Monkeys' Mercury Music Prize winning debut album, ''Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not'', Kasabian's ''Kasabian'' and ''Empire'', Ladytron's ''Witching Hour'' and ''Ladytron'', Sneaker Pimps' debut ''Becoming X'', and Adele's '' 19'', and '' 21''. Tim Goldsworthy is a British record producer, DJ and recording artist. Career Originally a musician/producer for Unkle with James Lavelle, he later worked with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem and was formerly joint owner of DFA Records. Goldsworthy was sued in March 2013 by Murphy and DFA Records for "breach of contract" and "unjust enrichment". Goldsworthy's friendship with Murphy is rumoured to be the subject of the song "How Do You Sleep?" from LCD Soundsystem's album ''American Dream''. HVOB (for Her Voice Over Boys) is an Austrian electronic duo founded in Vienna by Anna Müller and Paul Wallner. Biography Anna Müller and Paul Wallner founded HVOB in 2012. The duo focuses on "restrained and minimalist" electronica with the use of vocals. After releasing music on SoundCloud they were discovered by Oliver Koletzki, a German dance and house music producer. Koletzki contracted the duo and they later appeared at the Melt! Festival.
