Alwali Kazir
Alwali Jauji Kazir CFR (born 2 August 1947) is a retired Nigerian Army Major General who was Military Governor of Kwara State, Nigeria from December 1989 to January 1992 during the military regime of Major General Ibrahim Babangida. And then Chief of Army Staff from August 1994 to March 1996 during General Sani Abacha’s regime. Early life Kazir was born in Kazir Village, Jakusko L.G.A in present-day Yobe State. He attended Amshi Primary School between 1955 and 1957 and Gashua Central Primary School in 1958. Military career As a brigadier general, he was the director of army faculty at the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Jaji in 1992. After the sudden dismissal of Major General Chris Alli as the Chief of Army Staff, Alwali Kazir then the GOC 1 Division was promoted major general and made Chief of Army Staff serving from August 1994 to March 1996 during the regime of General Sani Abacha. Abubakar Umar Suleiman
Abubakar Umar Suleiman (born January 1962) was turbaned as the 11th Emir of Bade (Mai Bede) on 12 November 2005. He is head of the traditional state of Bade with headquarters in Gashua, Yobe State, Nigeria. Biography Abubakar was born in January 1962 in Gashua of the Bedde dynasty. He attended Borno college of basic studies (1980 - 1981) and then proceeded to Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria (1981 - 1983) where he earned a Diploma in Insurance. Sani Abacha (20 September 1943 – 8 June 1998) was a Nigerian military officer and politician who ruled as the military head of state of Nigeria from 1993 until his death in 1998. He seized power on 17 November 1993 in the last successful coup d'etat in the military history of Nigeria. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (born 17 August, 1941) is a retired Nigerian Army general and politician. He served as military president of Nigeria from 1985 until his resignation in 1993.
