Randolph Brody Altschuler (born December 8, 1970) is an American businessman and politician. He was the Republican and Conservative Party candidate for Congress in New York's 1st Congressional District in 2010 and 2012. He is the co-founder and chief executive officer (CEO) of Xometry, Inc. Early life and education Altschuler was born and raised in New York City by a single mother, Sheila Brody, and graduated from Hunter College High School in 1989. He attended Princeton University, working his way through school as a short order cook and campus security guard. John Altschuler
John Altschuler (born 1963) is an American television and film writer and producer known for his collaborative projects with Mike Judge and Dave Krinsky. Early life Altschuler grew up in a Jewish family in Carbondale, Illinois. His mother was a homemaker and his father was a merchant seaman who became an anthropologist. In his early teens, his family moved to Greenville, N.C., followed by a move to Cary, N.C. He graduated from Cary High School in 1981. Glenn Altschuler is an American writer and university-level educator and administrator. At Cornell University, he is the Thomas and Dorothy Litwin Emeritus Professor of American Studies and a Weiss Presidential Fellow. An animating force in American Studies, Altschuler taught large lecture courses in American popular culture and has been a strong advocate for the value of humanities and for high-quality undergraduate teaching and advising. Vladimir Abramovich Altschuler, also Altshuler (russian: Владимир Абрамович Альтшулер; born 29 September 1946), is a Russian chief-conductor and artistic director of Saint Petersburg Academic Symphony Orchestra and Honoured Artist of Russia. Education and first appearance Altschuler obtained a Ph.D. in art history but decided to become a musician instead. He joined one of Saint Petersburg's orchestras in 1969. In 1970 he graduated from the Leningrad Conservatory under the tutelage of Yuri Kramarov, who taught him viola. Twelve years later he became a conductor at his graduation school under guidance from Aleksandr Dmitriyev and then became chief conductor of the Academic Symphony Orchestra two years later. David Altschuler
Rabbi David Altschuler of Prague (1687-1769) was a List of biblical commentaries, biblical commentator and the author of a classic commentary, known as the ''Metzudot'', to the Hebrew Bible's Nevi'im and Ketuvim. Altshchuler is also known as the ''Baal Metzudot'', "Master or Author of the Metzudot." Biography Altschuler was born in Yavoriv in western Galicia (Eastern Europe), Galicia. His family had its origins in Portugal, but were forced to leave with the Persecution of Jews and Muslims by Manuel I of Portugal, expulsion of Jews from Portugal. It is reported that upon reaching Prague they built a synagogue using stones from the old Portuguese synagogues they had left, and therefore the family name became Altschuler ("of the old synagogue"). According to other reports, the family origin was in Provence. In the year 5486 (1725-1726) he is recorded as serving as a rabbi or judge of Yavoriv. Semen Alexandrovich Altshuler (also Altshuller, Al'tshuler or Al'shuller; german: Altschuler; russian: Семён Александрович Альтшулер; September 24, 1911 – January 24, 1983) was a Soviet physicist known for his work in resonance spectroscopy and in particular for theoretical prediction of acoustic paramagnetic resonance in 1952.Kochelaev p.100 Early years Altshuler was born in 1911 in Vitebsk, now a city in Belarus, near the border with Russia. Herbert Lewis "Buz" Altshuler (born February 3, 1945) is a retired American major general who served as director of strategy and plans for USAFRICOM, and commanded United States Army Civil Affairs and Psychological Operations Command (Airborne) (USACAPOC) from 2001 to 2007.
