Alter Ego (Amanda Lear Album)
''Alter Ego'' is a studio album by French singer Amanda Lear, released in 1995 by ZYX Music. Background The album was recorded at Metropolis Studio in Milan and PNG Studios in Munich, except for the previously released "Everytime You Touch Me", recorded at Gadda Studio in Bologna. ''Alter Ego'' marked Lear's return to Munich, twelve years after she had last recorded there. The album was produced by Michael Gordon and Tubi Forti. The picture used on the cover is an original self-portrait painted by Amanda. ''Alter Ego'' spawned three singles: "Everytime You Touch Me", which first appeared on the Italian compilation ''Hits and More'' earlier in 1995, "Peep!", the theme tune to Lear's erotic late night TV show of the same name which she hosted on German channel RTL II, and "Angel Love". Amanda Lear
Amanda Lear (; born 1939) is a French singer, songwriter, painter, television presenter, actress, and former model. She began her professional career as a fashion model in the mid-1960s, and went on to model for Paco Rabanne, Ossie Clark, and others. She met Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dalí, and remained his closest friend and muse for the next 15 years. Lear first came into the public eye as the cover model for Roxy Music's album ''For Your Pleasure'' in 1973. From the mid-1970s to the early 1980s, she was a million-album-selling disco queen, mainly in Continental Europe and Scandinavia, signed to Ariola Records. Rate Your Music (often abbreviated to RYM) is an online collaborative database of music releases and films. Users can catalog items from their personal collection, review them, and assign ratings in a five-star rating system. The site also features community-based charts that track highest-rated releases. History Rate Your Music was founded on December 24, 2000, by Seattle resident Hossein Sharifi, who is still active on the site under the username "sharifi". The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. "Tornerò" (Italian for "I Will Return") is a song by the Italian musical group I Santo California, released in 1974 as their debut single. The following year, the down-tempo love ballad became a number-one hit in Italy as well as a top five hit in German speaking countries. Peter Bardens
Peter Bardens (19 June 1945 – 22 January 2002) was an English keyboardist and a founding member of the British progressive rock group Camel. He played keyboards, sang, and wrote songs with Andrew Latimer. During his career, Bardens worked alongside Rod Stewart, Peter Green, Mick Fleetwood and Van Morrison. He recorded eleven solo albums. Career Bardens was born in Westminster, London, England, to Marie Marks and Dennis Bardens, the latter a novelist and biographer, and grew up in Notting Hill. He studied fine art at Byam Shaw School of Art, and learned the piano, before switching to the Hammond organ after listening to Jimmy Smith.
