Alta Plaza
Alta Plaza is a park in San Francisco, California and caps the top of the western edge of Pacific Heights. It falls under the jurisdiction of the City's Supervisorial District 2. The park is served by several San Francisco Municipal Railway bus lines. It gets its name from the eponymous spring. Background Alta Plaza consists of four square blocks at the top of Pacific Heights and overlooks much of San Francisco's Marina and Cow Hollow Districts, the Presidio, Fort Mason and Alcatraz. It is bordered by Jackson Street on the north, Clay Street to the south, and with Steiner and Scott Streets on its east and west edges, respectively. The plaza cuts off the East-West continuation of Washington Street and North-South continuation of Pierce Street. The plaza provides three hard surface tennis courts and a small playground in its center and has a large grass park on its northern half and terraced lawns on it southern half. Neighborhoods In San Francisco
San Francisco, in the US state of California, has both major, well-known neighborhoods and districts as well as smaller, specific subsections and developments. While there is considerable fluidity among the sources, one guidebook identifies five major districts, corresponding to the four quadrants plus a south central district. These five broad districts, counterclockwise are: Central/downtown, Richmond, Sunset, Upper Market and beyond (south central) and Bernal Heights/Bayview and beyond (southeast). Within each of these five districts are located major neighborhoods, and again there is considerable fluidity seen in the sources. 49-Mile Scenic Drive
The 49-Mile Scenic Drive is a designated scenic road tour highlighting much of San Francisco, California. It was created in 1938 by the San Francisco Down Town Association to showcase the city's major attractions and natural beauty during the 1939 Golden Gate International Exposition. Originally beginning at San Francisco City Hall and ending on Treasure Island, the route has been modified several times since. Today the route forms a loop proceeding counterclockwise from Civic Center Plaza, and its length is closer to . The Cadillac DeVille is the nameplate used by Cadillac over eight generations, originally used to designate a trim level of the 1949 Cadillac Series 62 and later to designate a standalone model in the brand range. Cadillac Fleetwood
The Cadillac Fleetwood is a model of luxury car that was manufactured by the Cadillac division of General Motors between 1976 and 1996. The "Fleetwood" name was previously used as a prefix on several of Cadillac's models dating back to 1935. Four-door Fleetwoods generally had longer wheelbases than Cadillac's more common Series 62 and DeVille models. Through 1984, all Fleetwood series cars were rear-wheel drive. Between 1985 and 1992, the Fleetwood name was used on new front-wheel drive models that were closely related to the concurrent DeVille. The original Yellow Cab Company, based in Chicago, Illinois, was one of the largest taxicab companies in the United States.
