Alone (i-Ten Song)
"Alone" is a song composed by Billy Steinberg and Tom Kelly, who recorded it under the name i-Ten on their 1983 album '' Taking a Cold Look''. It was later recorded by actress Valerie Stevenson and actor John Stamos on the original soundtrack of the CBS sitcom ''Dreams'' in 1984. American rock band Heart covered it on their 1987 album ''Bad Animals,'' and this version reached number one in the US and Canada. In 2007 Celine Dion recorded it for her album ''Taking Chances''. ''Taking a Cold Look'' is the sole Album, studio album by i-Ten, a short-lived project formed of the Songwriter, songwriting duo Tom Kelly (musician), Tom Kelly and Billy Steinberg, released in 1983. The album is typical of album-oriented rock and the duo worked with a number of famous rock musicians: Steve Lukather, David Paich and Steve Porcaro from Toto (band), Toto, Richard Page (musician), Richard Page (who later formed Mr. Mister) and Mike Baird (musician), Mike Baird from Journey (band), Journey. Ron Nevison is an American record producer and audio engineer. He started his career in the early 1970s as an engineer on ''Quadrophenia'' by the Who and Bad Company's debut album. Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars.
