Alon Ilsar
Alon Ilsar is a composer, producer, drummer, instrument designer and electronic percussionist. Based in Sydney, Australia for the greater portion of his musical career, Alon is most well known for performing in Company B's award winning musical, Keating! which toured Australia from November 2006 until August 2008. During ''Keating!'s'' successful season, Alon was awarded an Australia Council for the Arts grant to fund his choose-your-own adventure style musical game piece, ''The Colors Interactive Comeback Show'' which was performed at the Adelaide Fringe Festival, the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Sydney Comedy Festival He has also received an Australia Council for the Arts grant to design and build a new electronic percussion instrument called the 'Air Sticks'. A composer is a person who writes music. The term is especially used to indicate composers of Western classical music, or those who are composers by occupation. Eddie Perfect (born 17 December 1977) is an Australian singer-songwriter, pianist, comedian, writer and actor. The Tango Saloon
The Tango Saloon is an Australian experimental tango band from Sydney, Australia. Their self-titled debut, a "tango-flavored album with a twist of spaghetti western", was released in 2006 by Ipecac Recordings, the American record label run by Mike Patton and Greg Werckman. It was described by Greg Prato of AllMusic (All Music Guide) as "a musical breath of fresh air in the often foul-smelling state of modern popular music". Spontaneous Broadway is an advanced long-form improvised performance, based on audience suggestions. The audience typically submits titles of songs that have never been written, and the performers choose suggestions to create songs, the audience votes through acclamation on their favorite song, which is then used as the core of a brand new Broadway musical. The format received a favorable review from The ''New York Times'' when it premiered in New York in 1995. Though not required or necessarily encouraged by improv professionals, elements of humor inevitably surface in the performance because of the surprising and playful nature of improvisation and its use of typical Broadway stereotypes. Sam Atwell
Samuel Atwell (born 6 April 1979) is an Australian actor, producer, writer and director. Born in Nambour, Queensland, he and his family lived in Indonesia for 6 years before returning to Queensland where he grew up in Brisbane. He has always had a passion for acting and pursued speech and drama courses throughout school. Atwell did some work with Channel 7 at the end of primary school and Children's TV for 'UNICEF', and also completed a short film made for television. Australian Jazz Bell Awards, also known as the Bell Awards or The Bells, are annual music awards for the jazz music genre in Australia. They were named in honour of Australian jazz pianist, composer and band leader, Graeme Bell (1914–2012), at their inception in 2003 at the Melbourne International Jazz Festival. The awards were announced by Bell and Victoria's Minister for the Arts, Mary Delahunty, on 5 June 2003 to recognise the talent and achievements of Australian jazz artists locally and internationally.
