''Back in the Seventies'' (Spanish:''Allá en el setenta y tantos'') is a 1945 Argentine historical drama film directed by Francisco Múgica and starring Silvana Roth, Carlos Cores and Felisa Mary. Roth plays Cecilia Ramos, a fictionalized version of Élida Paso (1867-1893) an Argentine pharmacist who became the first woman from South America to graduate from a university. The film's sets were designed by Mario Vanarelli. Francisco Múgica
Francisco Múgica (10 April 1907 – 1985) was an Argentine film director, film editor and cinematographer. He was born and died in Buenos Aires. Múgica initially began his career in film as a cinematographer in the mid-1930s but by 1939 he had become a film director directing his first film ''El Solterón'' early that year followed by the highly successful comedy '' Así es la vida''. He directed some 25 films including the 1942 film '' Adolescencia''. He retired from film in 1962. Virginia Luque (born Violeta Mabel Domínguez; 4 October 1927 – 3 June 2014) was an Argentine tango singer and film actress. She made nearly 20 appearances in tango films of Argentina between 1943 and 1976. Born in Buenos Aires, she began her career in film in 1943 in ''La guerra la gano yo'', later appearing in ''Arriba el Telón o el Patio de la Morocha'' (1951). She starred alongside Arturo de Córdova in '' La Balandra Isabel llegó esta tarde'', a 1949 Venezuelan–Argentine film directed by Carlos Hugo Christensen, which entered into the 1951 Cannes Film Festival. José María Gutiérrez Hernández (born 31 October 1976), known as Guti, is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder, currently a manager. Gloria Grey (born Maria Dragomanovich; October 23, 1909 – November 22, 1947) was an American screen and stage actress and director, appearing in mainly dramatic/romantic films during the silent era and after. Career Grey was born Maria Dragomanovich in Portland, Oregon in 1909. She was educated in San Francisco, California.
