Ally Venable
Ally Marie Venable (born April 7, 1999 in Kilgore, Texas) is an American blues rock guitar player, singer, and songwriter. She is the 2014, 2015 ETX Music awards female guitar player of the year, and she and her band were the ETX Music Awards 2015, 2016 blues band of the year. Ally Venable was just 14 when she released her debut EP, ''Wise Man'' (2013), which earned her a reputation as a rising star in the Lone Star State's blues community. Venable's third album, ''No Glass Shoes'', with Connor Ray Music finished at number 16 in the RMR Electric Blues Charts for 2016. Venable is touted a must-see act for under-30-year-olds by America's Blues Scene. Her second album, ''Puppet Show'', debuted at No. 7 in the '' Billboard'' Blues Albums Chart. Ina Forsman
Ina Forsman (born 1994) is a Finnish blues and blues rock singer-songwriter. She has been involved in the recording of six albums since 2013. Career She was born in Helsinki, Finland. At the age of six, Forsman decided she wanted to be a singer. She was initially influenced after hearing a Christina Aguilera recording, but later became entranced by the work of Donny Hathaway, Sam Cooke, and Aretha Franklin. When she was 15 years old, she came to the attention of the television watching public when competing in the first series of ''The Voice of Finland''. She was noticed by the harmonicist Helge Tallqvist, who helped nurture her talent. By 2011, Forsman was performing on stage regularly and noted that "Helge was the first person who introduced blues to me. He took me to the studio and put our band together a couple of years ago. Katarina Pejak
Katarina Pejak is a Serbian blues singer, songwriter, and pianist. She blends a basic blues styling with elements of soul, folk and jazz. Pejak has been involved in the recording of five albums since 2010. Life and career She was born in Belgrade, Serbia. Her father was a promoter and manager of a blues and jazz club, while her mother was a flamenco dancer. Due to her parents involvement in music, many musicians descended on her home when she was growing up with music playing a regular occurrence. Pejak spent time with her two grandmothers who would inspire the youngster with their storytelling abilities. Blues is a music genre and musical form which originated in the Deep South of the United States around the 1860s.
