Alexandra Sylvia Bailey (born September 24, 1993) is an American former soccer player who played as a midfielder for the Houston Dash in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Playing career Texas A&M Aggies, 2011–2014 Bailey attended Texas A&M University, where she played for the Aggies from 2011 to 2014. Houston Dash, 2015 In 2015, Bailey played for expansion team Houston Dash as an amateur player called up while a number of international players were away from their professional clubs for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Texas A&M Aggies
Texas A&M Aggies refers to the students, graduates, and sports teams of Texas A&M University. The nickname "Aggie" was once common at land-grant or "ag" (agriculture) schools in many states. The teams are also referred to as "A&M" or "Texas Aggies," and the official school colors are maroon and white. The mascot is a rough collie named Reveille. The sports teams compete in Division I of the NCAA. Until the dissolution of the Southwest Conference, Texas A&M was a charter member of that conference. The 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup was the seventh FIFA Women's World Cup, the quadrennial international soccer championship contested by the women's national teams of the member associations of FIFA. The tournament was hosted by Canada for the first time and by a North American country for the third time. Matches were played in six cities across Canada in five time zones.
