''Alli Darbar'' () is a 1978 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. M. Balakrishnan, and produced by Aiyaa Creations. The film stars Vijayakumar and Manjula. It was released on 1 September 1978. Plot Vijay, a youth, goes searching for a gang of women criminals, to stop their terrorising the people and to earn the police-sponsored . Vijay and his two friends, with help of some pet animals, thwart some of the robbery attempts. Alli, one of the chief gangsters, decides to capture Vijay but falls in love with him. Panchaksharam Rangasamy Pillai (born 29 August 1943), known professionally as Vijayakumar, is an Indian actor who works in Tamil cinema. He started his film career in the Tamil film '' Sri Valli'' (1961) as a child actor and started playing a lead role from the movie ''Aval Oru Thodar Kathai'' (1974) then he worked in ''Madhura Geetham'' (1977) and ''Azhage Unnai Aarathikkiren'' (1979). Manjula Vijayakumar (4 July 195423 July 2013) was an Indian actress. She acted in more than 100 films in South Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Personal life She and actor Vijayakumar got married in 1976. The couple have three daughters, Vanitha, Preetha and Sridevi. Arun Vijay, Anitha, and Kavitha are her husband's children from his first marriage. Sanjeev and Sindhu are her nephew and niece respectively (elder sister's son and daughter respectively). Shankar–Ganesh is an Indian music director duo who has worked on Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada movies for around 50 years. Career They started as assistants to Tamil music composers M. S. Viswanathan and T. K. Ramamoorthy in 1964 and later the duo assisted M.S.Viswanathan alone from 1965 till 1967. Kannadhasan started his own film Titled "Nagarathil Thirudargal" in which he introduced Shankar Ganesh as music directors. The film was stopped, so Kannadhasan took them to Chinnappa Devar and requested him to give them a chance. ''Kalki'' is a Tamil language, Tamil-language Weekly (news magazine), weekly magazine published from Chennai, India. The magazine was established by Kalki Krishnamurthy, a popular Tamil language, Tamil novelist and Indian freedom fighter, in 1941. Kalki Sadasivam, T Sadasivam was the magazine's co-founder.
