Geography Most of the eastern boundary is marked by the Logan River where irrigated agriculture is the predominant land use. The North Coast railway line also marks a section of the eastern boundary. In the west is the Wyaralong Dam and Teviot Brook which aligns with a small section of the western boundary. Bromelton is a rural locality in the Scenic Rim Region, Queensland, Australia. In the , Bromelton had a population of 155 people. Geography The Beaudesert–Boonah Road (State Route 90) runs through from east to north. History Bromelton Post Office opened on 1 July 1927 (a receiving office had been open by 1883) and closed in 1938. In 1842, Hugh Henry Robertson settled a run at Bromelton, becoming the first European to reside in the Logan River valley. Bromelton Provisional School opened on 25 October 1880. Wyaralong Dam
The Wyaralong Dam is a mass concrete gravity dam with an un-gated spillway across the Teviot Brook that is located in the South East region of Queensland, Australia. The main purpose of the dam is for supply of potable water for the Scenic Rim region. The dam was initiated by the Queensland Government in 2006 as a result of the prolonged Millennium drought which saw the catchment areas of South East Queensland's dams receive record low rain. It was completed in 2011. Location and features The dam is located approximately north-west of . The dam wall itself is split between the localities of Wyaralong and Allenview, but the bulk of impounded water is within Wyaralong. North Coast Railway Line, New South Wales
The North Coast Line is the primary rail route in the Mid North Coast and Northern Rivers regions of New South Wales, Australia, and forms a major part of the Sydney–Brisbane rail corridor. The line begins at Maitland and ends at Roma Street railway station in Brisbane, although freight services terminate at the yard at Acacia Ridge on the outskirts of Brisbane.
