Allen Eller
Allen Eller (December 11, 1976 – November 4, 2016) was an American soccer player who most recently played for the Cleveland Freeze in the PASL. Biography Eller attended the University of Akron, playing on the men's soccer team from 1995 to 1998. In 1999, Eller turned professional with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds of the USL A-League. In the fall, Eller moved indoors with the Cleveland Crunch of the National Professional Soccer League. In 2001, Eller did not play the outdoor season, but in February 2002, he signed with the Harrisburg Heat for the second Major Indoor Soccer League. He finished the season with the Heat. On January 31, 2003, the Heat traded Kyle Swords and Eller to the Baltimore Blast for Gino DiFlorio. The Blast won the 2003 and 2004 league titles. Premier Arena Soccer League
The Premier Arena Soccer League (PASL) is an indoor soccer league with mostly semi-professional teams; along with a number of amateur teams across North America. The PASL was previously known as the Federation of Sports Arenas (FSA). The PASL logo formerly belonged to what is now the Major Arena Soccer League. Teams play in regional competition to keep travel costs to a minimum. The champion of each region then compete in a playoff tournament to decide the league champion. PASL currently runs a men's winter and summer league as well as women's summer league. The winter league typically starts in December and ends in March. The summer league runs from May through early August. PASL is an affiliated member of the Pan-American Minifootball Federation and the World Minifootball Federatio. Premier Development League
USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental association football, soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The league features 113 teams for 2022, split into sixteen regional divisions across four conferences. USL League Two is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. Ventura County Fusion are the current champions, having defeated Long Island Rough Riders 2–1 in the 2022 USL League Two Championship game on August 6, 2022. Milwaukee Wave
The Milwaukee Wave is an American professional indoor soccer team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Founded in 1984, they have been the oldest continuously operating professional soccer team in the United States and are seven-time league champions, most recent being the 2018–19 champions of the Major Arena Soccer League. The team plays their games at the UW–Milwaukee Panther Arena. The team colors are black and yellow. History The team was founded on August 3, 1984, as a member of the American Indoor Soccer Association and played in every season and incarnation of that league (see MISL). Sipho Sibiya
Sipho Sibiya Riopel (born July 28, 1971), also known as Siphos Sibya, is a retired South African-Canadian soccer player who is an assistant coach with the Vancouver Whitecaps women's team. Player Youth In 1991, Sibiya, at the time known as Sipho Riopel, played a single season for Seattle Pacific University. Professional In 1994, Sibiya began his professional career with the Vancouver 86ers of the American Professional Soccer League. He played four seasons in Vancouver. In 1998, he played a single season with the Montreal Impact of the USISL A-League. In December 1998, he tore his achilles tendon playing indoor soccer. Joel John Bailey
Joel John Bailey (born February 17, 1980) is a forward who last played for the Carolina RailHawks of the USL First Division. He played three seasons in Major Indoor Soccer League. Club career Indoor Bailey began his indoor soccer career in 2003 with the now defunct Cleveland Force of Major Indoor Soccer League. On March 29, 2005, the Force traded Bailey and Sipho Sibiya to the Baltimore Blast for Neil Gilbert and Allen Eller. During the 2005–2006 season, Bailey played twenty-nine games with the MISL championship winning Blast and he left indoor soccer at the end of the season. Gino DiFlorio
Gino DiFlorio is a Canadian former professional soccer player who had an extensive indoor career in North America during the 1990s. Since 2001, he has been the director of coaching at the youth soccer club in Eastern Pennsylvania called HMMS. Player Youth Moved into Canada with his immediate family after the first few years of his life. Growing up and playing recreational soccer, he could not put the soccer ball away, he was hooked. Sometime in his teen years, Gino was recognized by a coach of one of the Canadian Provincial Teams. He was later put on the roster. Not long after that, he was training with the Canadian Youth Team, in which he started every game, but did not make the final roster. He stopped for a year and threw out all of his gear, and moved back to Italy. Kyle Swords
Kyle Swords (Swordsy) is a retired American soccer defender who played professionally in the USL A-League and National Professional Soccer League. Swords was born in Dayton, Ohio. He attended Wayne High School (class of 1992) in the Dayton suburb of Huber Heights and was an inaugural member of the Wayne Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002. Swords attended James Madison University, playing on the men’s soccer team from 1992 to 1996. In 1997, he turned professional with the expansion Hershey Wildcats in the USISL A-League. Swords would play every season of the Wildcats five-year existence. In 2001, the Wildcats fell to the Rochester Rhinos in the 2001 A-League championship.
