Anton Allemann
Anton "Toni" Allemann (6 January 1936 – 3 August 2008) was a Switzerland, Swiss Association football, footballer. He began his career at BSC Young Boys in Berne in 1957 at age 21, where he spent four seasons. Early life and career Allemann came to London in 1959 as part of his training as a watchmaker. FA regulations meant that he could not play for a professional club so he joined Hayes FC making a total of 15 appearances and scoring 4 goals. In 1961, he joined Italy, Italian side A.C. Mantova, and later played for PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands, and 1. FC Nürnberg in Germany, before returning home to Switzerland in 1966 to play for Grasshopper Club Zürich, Grasshopper-Club Zürich. At the international level, Allemann played 27 times for the Switzerland national football team, Swiss national team, and scored nine international goals. Cyndie Allemann
Cyndie Allemann (born 4 April 1986 in Moutier) is a Swiss racing driver. She is the daughter of former Swiss karting champion Kurt Allemann and the sister of fellow racing driver Ken Allemann. After beginning her career in karting, she moved to cars in 2004 in Renault Speed Trophy F2000 and finished 6th. The next year she moved to the more highly regarded German championship for the same cars and finished 12th. In 2006, she moved up to the Formel 3 Cup, finishing in 9th place and winning the pole position at EuroSpeedway Lausitz. The following year she drove in the Formula 3 Euro Series for British team Manor Motorsport racing a Dallara-Mercedes, but despite participating in all 20 races, failed to score points and was not classified in the season standings. In 2008, Allemann signed to race in Firestone Indy Lights series for American Spirit Racing. Urs Allemann
Urs Allemann (born 1 April 1948) is a Swiss writer and journalist. Life and work Allemann was born in 1948 in Schlieren, near Zurich, Switzerland, but grew up in Bonn and Berlin. He studied German and English at the University of Marburg and sociology and social psychology at Leibniz University Hannover. From 1975 to 1976 he was editor of the magazine ''Theater heute''. From 1986 to 2005 he was literary editor on the arts section of the ''Basler Zeitung'' newspaper in Basel. His work has won several awards, including the Heimrad Bäcker Prize and the Swiss Literature Prize. He is known for his experimental prose style and has courted controversy in the past: his 1992 novel ''Babyfucker'' caused a minor scandal when it was presented in a literary competition (where despite protests from some of the judges, it went on to win the second-place Prize of Carinthia).
