	Allan Green Allan Lamar Green (born September 20, 1979) is an American professional boxer. He is a former NABO super middleweight champion, and has challenged for world titles at both super middleweight and light heavyweight. Amateur career Green had a stellar amateur career despite not making the Olympic Games, winning the 2002 National Golden Gloves, at 178 lbs, and compiling a 55-6 record. During the 2002 Golden Gloves tournament Allan beat Mike Tyson's two decade old 8 second knockout record. He also was five time Oklahoma state champion, and four time regional champion, before coming pro at age 23. 	Allan Green (barrister) Sir Allan David Green, KCB, KC (born 1 March 1935) is a retired barrister in England and Wales. He was Director of Public Prosecutions and second head of the Crown Prosecution Service from 1987 to 1992. Career He was called to the bar in 1959 and rose to become a recorder (part-time judge) in 1979. Among his cases was the trial of the so-called 'Muswell Hill Murderer', serial killer Dennis Nilsen. After a successful career as a prosecution counsel, he was appointed Director of Public Prosecutions in 1987. In this role he was responsible for the majority of criminal prosecutions in England, and in his term of office he had to deal with the appeals against conviction of the Guildford Four and the Birmingham Six. 	Allan Green (botanist) Thomas George Allan Green is a lichenologist, terrestrial ecologist and botanist. He is a professor emeritus at the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand. His work particularly studies how lichens respond to extreme low temperatures and dryness, and especially how this affects photosynthesis. He has studied the ecology of Antarctica. Early life and education Green was born in the United Kingdom and studied lichens for his PhD at University of Oxford that was awarded in 1970. His supervisor was David Cecil Smith. 	Allen Green Allen Leldon Green (February 15, 1938 – February 14, 2023) was an American professional football player who was a punter and placekicker in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Mississippi. Early life Green attended Hanceville High School before moving on to the University of Mississippi. He played as a center, but got an opportunity to start kicking field goals as a senior. picture info	Allan Green Conservatory The Allan Green Conservatory was a pyramid shaped botanical display facility on the Esplanade Reserve in Perth, Western Australia. It was built in 1979 as part of the state's 150th anniversary celebrations and was designed to provide a public display of exotic tropical plants and rare palms not normally seen in Perth. It included internal elevated pathways. It was named after William Allan McInnes Green, town clerk and chief executive officer of the City of Perth for many years. Patronage to the conservatory declined from about 1996, and in 2006 the City of Perth closed the facility while considering redeveloping the facility for café/restaurant use. After investigating its commercial options, the City decided to close the facility indefinitely in light of the State Government's planned developments on the Esplanade Reserve.
