Allan Fallah
Alan Fallah (born 11 March 1959) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s for the Western Suburbs Magpies and was also an NRL touch judge. Background Fallah was born in Bankstown, New South Wales, Australia. Club career A Canterbury junior with St George Dragons, Bass Hill RSL, then Chester Hill Hornets from the age of 11, Fallah played thirds and reserve grade with the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs while still in high school. He studied at the University of Wollongong and played three seasons with the Corrimal Cougars and represented the Illawarra divisional team and NSW Country. He then captain-coached the Oberon Tigers for two seasons, also representing Group 10, Western Division and again NSW Country. Fallah came to attention representing Illawarra in the country rugby league championship 1981. He went on to represent Country Firsts later that year. Bankstown, New South Wales
Bankstown is a suburb south west of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 16 kilometres south-west of the Sydney central business district and is located in the local government area of the City of Canterbury-Bankstown, having previously been the administrative centre of the City of Bankstown prior to 2016. Chris Anderson (rugby League)
Christopher "Opes" Anderson (born 2 May 1952) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1970s and 1980s, and coached in the 1990s and 2000s. An Australian Kangaroos and New South Wales Blues representative winger, he featured in Canterbury-Bankstown's third grand final win and captained Halifax ( Heritage № 941) to both League and Cup success. As a coach, Anderson took Australia to World Cup victory and coached both Canterbury-Bankstown and Melbourne Storm to premiership wins. He is also a member of the Halifax Hall of Fame. Trevor Cogger
Trevor Cogger (born 30 January 1961) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played for the Western Suburbs Magpies. He played 160 first grade games in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership with the Magpies, the fifth most capped player for the club. Cogger also holds the club record for most appearances in all grades (308) and has scored the most tries for the club in all grades, 88, eclipsing Peter Dimond's previous record. Club career Cogger made his first grade debut in 1981. In 1982, he played his third game of the year after being called to the sheds while eating a meat pie and relaxing, having just completed a lower grade game. His call up was successful leading the team to a shock win (scoring two tries). He was heralded as the "Meat Pie Hero" in the Sydney Sun newspaper the following day. Ben Elias (Arabic: بن الياس; born 15 November 1963 in Tripoli, Lebanon),is an Australian former rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played primarily as a for Balmain in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership. He was one of the leading hookers from the mid-1980s until his retirement at the end of the 1994 season. Along with Wayne Pearce, Paul Sironen and Steve Roach, Elias and his Balmain teammates formed one of the best forward packs in the modern era during the late 1980s.
