''All Over the UK'' is the debut studio album by British happy hardcore musicians Force & Styles released on 26 August 1996 on United Dance Recordings. Background After working together since 1993 as part of DJ Force & the Evolution (with James Broomfield and Paul Hughes), Paul Hobbs and Darren Mew formed Force & Styles in 1995. They founded their own independent record label UK Dance Records to release their recordings and the duo released numerous 12-inch singles during the mid-1990s. ''All over the UK'' was recorded at their studio in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex and the album was released on DJ Eruption's United Dance Recordings label on 26 August 1996 and peaked at No. 103 on the UK Albums Chart. Force & Styles
Darren James Mew (born 23 May 1975), better known as Darren Styles, is an English record producer, DJ, singer and songwriter from Colchester, England. Originally a member of the breakbeat hardcore group DJ Force & the Evolution, Styles found success during the 1990s as one half of Force & Styles. The duo were pioneers of happy hardcore and wrote several well-known songs such as " Heart of Gold", "Pretty Green Eyes" and " Paradise & Dreams". In the early 2000s, Styles began producing more trance-influenced records with Mark Brady as Styles & Breeze. The duo released two hit singles "You're Shining" (2004) and "Heartbeatz" (2005) which both reached the Top 20 of the UK Singles Chart. "Heart of Gold" is a song written and recorded by Force & Styles. It was first recorded and released on Force & Styles album ''All over the UK'' (1996) with the vocals by Jenna, and it was released as a single in 1998 with vocals by Kelly Llorenna. UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Slipmatt
Matthew Nelson (born 22 April 1967 in Loughton, Essex, England), better known as DJ Slipmatt, is a British electronic music producer and DJ. He was one half of breakbeat hardcore group SL2, who had a 1992 UK hit with " On a Ragga Tip". Biography In 1988, while working as an electrician and courier, Nelson obtained his first turntables and started playing hip-hop and house. He then founded a pirate radio station named "Raw FM" in London's East End, and in 1989 began his professional DJ career as DJ for the Raindance rave event. His first music production was in 1989 where Slipmatt collaborated with DJ Lime forming SL2. The single, "Do That Dance", was released in that same year. This was followed by the number 11 UK chart hit "DJs Take Control" / "Way in My Brain". The follow-up single, " On a Ragga Tip", reached number 2 in the UK Singles Chart in April 1992. "Paradise & Dreams" is a song written and recorded by producers Force & Styles, featuring Junior which originally appeared on their album '' All over the UK'' (1996) and was released as a single in 1997. Ultrabeat are a British electronic dance music group from Liverpool, England formed in 2002. Flip & Fill
Flip & Fill are a Manchester, England based electronic dance music duo, consisting of the producers/remixers, DJs Graham Turner and Mark Hall. They are signed to the All Around The World record label. Career Having released tracks since 2000, they reached No. 34 in the UK Singles Chart in March 2001 with "True Love Never Dies", based on a mash-up of "Airwave" by Rank 1 and Donna Williams' "True Love Never Dies", with re-recorded vocals by Kelly Llorenna. Remixed and re-released, it reached No. 7 in February 2002.
