All Stars Hurler Of The Year
The GAA–GPA All-Star Hurler of the Year is a hurling award presented to the player voted as best in the country by all the players from around Ireland. It began in 1995 and honours the achievements of a hurler of outstanding excellence. Kilkenny players have won the award 10 out of 28 times, ahead of Limerick with four wins. Tipperary, Cork, Waterford and Clare have won it three times each. The award's youngest winner was Tony Kelly, who won at the age of 19 in 2013. Henry Shefflin and Cian Lynch are the only players to have won the award more than once. The oldest winner is also Henry Shefflin, who was 33 when he won in 2012. In 2011 the Gaelic Athletic Association and the Gaelic Players' Association announced that their respective annual player awards schemes were to merge under the sponsorship of Opel. Gaelic Athletic Association

Wexford County Hurling Team
The Wexford county hurling team represents Wexford in hurling and is governed by Wexford GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the three major annual inter-county competitions; the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship, the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship and the National Hurling League. Wexford's home ground is Wexford Park, Wexford. The team's manager is Darragh Egan. Erin's Own GAA (Cork)
Erin's Own GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Glounthaune in east County Cork, Ireland. The club is made up of players from Little Island, Knockraha, Brooklodge and Glounthaune areas of the parish. The club caters for players at all age levels in hurling, Gaelic football, camogie and ladies football. The club plays in the Imokilly division of Cork GAA. History Erin's Own GAA Club was founded in 1963 with the amalgamation of the two parish clubs, Knockraha and Little Island. Brian Corcoran
Brian Corcoran (born 23 March 1973) is an Irish former hurler and Gaelic footballer who played as a centre-back and as a full-forward for the Cork senior teams. Born in Glounthaune, County Cork, Corcoran first played competitive Gaelic games whilst at school at Midleton CBS Secondary School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of fifteen when he first linked up with the Cork minor teams as a dual player, before later joining the under-21 sides. He made his senior debut during the 1991-92 National Hurling League. Corcoran went on to play a key part for Cork as both a hurler and as a footballer, and won three All-Ireland medals, five Munster medals and two National Hurling League medals. He also won three Munster medals as a footballer. He was an All-Ireland runner-up on three occasions. Birr GAA is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in the town of Birr in County Offaly, Ireland. The club is almost exclusively concerned with the game hurling and is one of the most successful hurling clubs in the country. Offaly County Hurling Team
The Offaly county hurling team represents Offaly in hurling and is governed by Offaly GAA, the county board of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The team competes in the Joe McDonagh Cup and the National Hurling League. Offaly's home ground is O'Connor Park, Tullamore. The team's manager is Johnny Kelly. Brian Whelahan
Brian Whelahan (born 23 August 1971) is an Irish former hurler who played as a left wing-back at senior level for the Offaly county team. Born in Banagher, County Offaly, Whelahan first played competitive hurling whilst at school in St Brendan's Community School. He arrived on the inter-county scene at the age of fifteen when he first linked up with the Offaly minor team, before later lining out with the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 1989 championship. Whelahan went on to play a key role for Offaly during a hugely successful era for the team, and won two All-Ireland medals, four Leinster medals and one National Hurling League medals. Seánie McMahon
Seánie McMahon (born 1973) is a former Irish hurler. He played with his local club St Joseph's Doora-Barefield and with the Clare senior inter-county team from 1994 until 2006. He is the highest scoring back in All-Ireland Championship history with 0-97 from 51 games. Playing career Club McMahon retired from playing with his club Doora-Barefield in 2009. He has had some success at underage levels before finally winning a senior county championship title in 1998. This was later converted into a Munster club title and on St. Patrick's Day, 1999 McMahon claimed an All-Ireland club title following a huge win over Rathnure. Mount Sion GAA
Mount Sion ( ga, Cnoc Sion) is a Gaelic Athletic Association club located in Waterford City, County Waterford, Ireland. It was founded by teachers in the school of the same name. Although technically separate from the school, the club still maintains a close relationship with the school, sharing the same sports facilities in the city. The club fields teams in both the Waterford Hurling and Gaelic football championships and has had many famous players, including John Keane, Philly Grimes, Tony Browne and Ken McGrath. The club is mainly concerned with the game of hurling and is the most successful in Waterford with 35 county title wins, although they did win 5 county football titles back in the 1950s. Tony Browne
Tony Browne (born 1 July 1973) is an Irish hurler who played as a right wing-back for the Waterford senior team from 1991 until his retirement from inter-county hurling in 2014. Browne made his first appearance for the team during the 1991–92 National League and immediately became a regular member of the starting fifteen. During his inter-county career, he won four Munster winners' medals and one National League winners' medal. He ended up as an All-Ireland runner-up on one occasion. At club level Browne is a one-time Munster medalist with Mount Sion. In addition to this he has won seven county club championship medals. Browne has a number of personal achievements, including being the most "capped" Waterford hurler of all-time.
