"All Souls" is the seventeenth episode of the fifth season of the American science fiction television series ''The X-Files''. The episode originally aired on the Fox network on April 26, 1998. The episode's teleplay was written by Frank Spotnitz and John Shiban, from a story by Dan Angel and Billy Brown; it was directed by Allen Coulter. ''All Souls'' is an American paranormal hospital drama television series created by Stuart Gillard and Stephen Tolkin and inspired by Lars von Trier's miniseries ''The Kingdom''. It originally aired for one season on UPN from April 17, 2001, to August 31, 2001. The series follows the medical staff of the haunted teaching hospital All Souls. While working as a medical intern, protagonist Dr. Mitchell Grace (Grayson McCouch) encounters various spirits, and discovers that the doctors are running unethical experiments on their patients. The executive producers included Aaron Spelling, E. Duke Vincent, and Mark Frost. Javier Marías Franco (20 September 1951 – 11 September 2022) was a Spanish author, translator, and columnist. Marías published fifteen novels, including '' A Heart So White'' (''Corazón tan blanco,'' 1992'')'' and '' Tomorrow in the Battle Think on Me'' (''Mañana en la batalla piensa en mí,'' 1994). In addition to his novels, he also published three collections of short stories and various essays. ''All Souls'' is a 2008 novel by American writer Christine Schutt. The book takes place in New York City, and follows the lives of faculty and students at the fictional Siddons School. Writing and composition The novel draws from Schutt's experience as a teacher at an all-girls school in Manhattan. Since the book's publication, Schutt noted "types" from the school, Nightingale-Bamford, she would include if she were to rewrite it. ''All Souls'' was in part inspired by David Malouf's novel ''Remembering Babylon''. Despite perception that the novel " ushesthe boundaries of fiction" Schutt has said she did not intend for it to do so. ''All Souls'' is a compilation album by British rock band Siouxsie and the Banshees, released on 21 October 2022. It is a collection of singles, album tracks and curated B-sides. It was conceived by Siouxsie Sioux as a seasonal compilation "to celebrate the autumn equinox and its festivities". Background In June 2022, vocalist Siouxsie Sioux assisted in the half-speed remastering of ten Siouxsie and the Banshees tracks at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell. The songs were compiled into the album for "autumnal celebration" ''All Souls,'' released on 180 gram black vinyl and on limited edition orange vinyl, as well as on streaming platforms.
