Composition and reception According to Copperman, the song is about a girl "who feels like nobody pays attention to her, feeling very lonely. But she then finds hope and realises there's someone out there for her." Expressing a fondness for writing from others' perspectives, Copperman added that the song is "also loosely based on a girl I went to college with and a few of my feelings – it's impossible to completely disengage your feelings." Ross Copperman (born October 1, 1982) is a Grammy-nominated American singer-songwriter and producer with 29 number one radio hits. After his experience as an artist in the UK, Copperman discovered his talent for writing and producing country music. Welcome to Reality is the second album by American singer-songwriter Ross Copperman, and first on a major label. The singles released from the album were "As I Choke", " All She Wrote", and "Found You". Released in May 2007, the album reached the charts in Scotland and the United Kingdom.
