"All She Wants Is" is a song by British new wave band Duran Duran. It was released in December 1988 as the second single from the '' Big Thing'' album and reached No. 9 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 22 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in the United States. '' Cash Box'' called it a "growling, thumping rock extravaganza that's danceable." Music video The video for "All She Wants Is" was shot in London with video director Dean Chamberlain, a well-known photographer who had previously taken pictures and filmed a video for the side project Arcadia. Duran Duran
Duran Duran () are an English Rock music, rock band formed in Birmingham in 1978 by singer and bassist Stephen Duffy, keyboardist Nick Rhodes and guitarist/bassist John Taylor (bass guitarist), John Taylor. With the addition of drummer Roger Taylor (Duran Duran drummer), Roger Taylor the following year the band went through numerous personnel changes before May 1980, when they settled on their most famous line-up by adding guitarist Andy Taylor (guitarist), Andy Taylor and lead vocalist Simon Le Bon. When Duran Duran emerged they were generally considered part of the New Romantic scene. ''Strange Behaviour'' is an album of remixes by Duran Duran. It was released by EMI in March 1999. The title comes from a line in the song "Skin Trade": "''would someone please explain, the reason for this strange behaviour''". The band had previously used "Strange Behaviour" as the name of their 1987 tour. A 1987 EP of remixes from the ''Notorious'' album that was released in Italy and Japan under the title "Strange Behavior" (American-English spelling without the 'u', rather than the British spelling used here). Background and release ''Greatest'' is an update of the 1989 tenth anniversary compilation album, ''Decade''. The new release includes songs from their eponymous debut album through 1997's ''Medazzaland'' (excluding 1995's ''Thank You''). The album includes all 14 songs featured in ''Decade'', plus "New Moon on Monday" and four singles from the '90s. However, several songs on the disc are presented in their edited forms in order to fit on a single CD. Shep Pettibone
Robert "Shep" Pettibone (born 10 July 1959) is an American record producer, remixer, songwriter and club DJ, one of the most prolific of the 1980s. Career Shep Pettibone surfaced after his work with Arthur Baker on Afrika Bambaataa & the Jazzy 5's "Jazzy Sensation" and as an in-house mix engineer for Prelude Records. During his recording career, he launched innovative "mastermixes" for New York's KISS FM. The popularity of these mixes persuaded Prelude Records to release some of them commercially. Pettibone built his brand through his personal approach to remixing tracks, specially crafted for the dancefloor. Acclaimed by DJs worldwide, he was the go-to man to achieve club and chart success. His prowess at production and mixing led him to work with such artists as Madonna and George Michael in the late 1980s during the height of these artists' popularity.
