All India Youth Federation
The All India Youth Federation (AIYF) is a nationwide youth organisation of Communist Party of India founded on May 3, 1959. AIYF is affiliated to World Federation of Democratic Youth. And member of general council of WFDY. Formation It was being more and more felt that without a national youth organisation and a national perspective it was not possible to build countrywide movements and to respond to the needs of the youth on an all India scale. The movement would remain isolated confined to the states With this end in view the first conference of the All India Youth Federation was held from April 28 to May 3, 1959, in Delhi. 250 delegates and observers representing youth organisations of eleven states attended this six-day session. Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy
Suravaram Sudhakar Reddy is the former General Secretary of the Communist Party of India (CPI) from 2012 to 2019. He was a member of the 12th and 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Nalgonda constituency of Telangana. He was elected to serve as General Secretary of Communist Party of India (CPI), on 31 March 2012 in the 21st party Congress. He has previously served as the Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Labour, while being a member of the parliament. Born on 25 March 1942 at Hyderabad, he was educated in the Municipal High School and Coles memorial High school in Kurnool. He did his BA in History from Osmania College, Kurnool, in 1964 and LLB from Osmania University Law College in Hyderabad in the year 1967. When he was 15, he became a crucial figure in an agitation seeking blackboards, chalk and books for his school in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. Balraj Sahni
Brigadier Balraj (born Balasegaram Kandiah) was a senior commander of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE). Early life Balraj was the fifth and youngest child of Kandiah and Kannagias. He received his primary education in Kokkuthoduwaai (in Mullaitheevu district) and his secondary education in Pulmoddai (in Trincomalee district). After he passed his O levels, his parents wanted to send him to university; however, due to civil unrest throughout the country they were unable to do so. Balraj was fluent in Tamil, Sinhala and English. Although none of his siblings joined the Tamil Tigers, some of his nephews and nieces did.
