Penn FC
Penn FC (formerly the Harrisburg City Islanders) was an American professional soccer team based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Founded in 2003, the team most recently played in the USL Pro, the second tier of the United States soccer league system. In October 2018, the club formally announced it will not participate in the 2019 season and would have resume play in 2020 as a member of USL League One, a league in the third tier. On November 15, 2017 the team was rebranded as Penn FC. The rebrand served in conjunction with a partnership with Rush Soccer youth development program. Penn FC served Rush Soccer's professional team and the club's most important piece to their extensive network. The team played its home games at FNB Field on City Island. The team's colors were blue, black and grey corresponding to Rush Soccer's branding established in 1997. Michael Behonick
Michael Behonick (born January 3, 1981, in Bohemia, New York) is an American retired soccer player who last played for the Puerto Rico Islanders of the USL First Division. Behonick is now an assistant coach at for the Pittsburgh Panthers men's soccer team. Career College Behonick played college soccer at American University from 1999 to 2002, where he helped the Eagles reach the NCAA Tournament as a junior and earned second-team all- Patriot League honors the same season. Professional Behonick was selected 51st overall in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft by D.C. United but did not remain with the club. Instead, he began his professional career with the Charleston Battery of the A-League but did not see significant playing time until starting 10 matches in the 2005 season. Antonio Bua
Antonia Bua (born 23 August 1990) is an Italian footballer who played for the Harrisburg City Islanders in USL Pro. Career High school and college Bua attended Lampeter-Strasburg High School. In 2008, he was named an all-state selection along with Andrew Wenger and Zarek Valentin, both of whom were drafted into Major League Soccer. Bua played college soccer for York College of Pennsylvania. Over his college career, Bua registered 66 total points on 28 goals and ten assists in 87 games. Included in his 28 career goals were nine game-winning goals. Bua was a 3-time All-CAC selection with the Spartans and was part of the team that won four straight conference championships. Haven Bruce (born January 12, 1979, in Charlotte, North Carolina) is an American soccer striker who currently plays for Upward Stars FC in the National Premier Soccer League. He started his career with the Wilmington Hammerheads before moving to Costa Rica to play for Asociacion Deportiva San Carlos. Bruce returned to the US in 2005 and subsequently had spells with the Greenville Lions and the Harrisburg City Islanders Penn FC (formerly the Harrisburg City Islanders) was an American professional soccer team based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, United States. Keasel Broome
Keasel Broome (born 18 September 1991) is a Barbadian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for National Premier Soccer League club Pittsburgh Hotspurs and the Barbadian national team. Career College Prior to attending Providence College, played with Caravel Academy, and helped the Academy to the state soccer title in 2009. In 2014 Broome played every minute of every game for the Providence Friars, securing a 2–1 win over Xavier in the Big East title game and subsequent NCAA triumphs over Dartmouth, Cal-Irvine, and Michigan State. Josh Bolton (born May 26, 1984 in Penfield, New York) is an American soccer player who last played for Charleston Battery in the USL Second Division. Matt Bolduc
Matthew Bolduc (born October 12, 1994) is an American professional soccer player who last played as a midfielder for USL League One club Richmond Kickers. Career Bolduc attended The Winchendon School where he was a two-time All New England selection as a junior and senior. During that time he was selected and played for the Region 1 ODP '94 squad. In 2013, he played college soccer for one year at the University of Massachusetts. In 2014, he moved on and signed for Mass United of the American Soccer League. Geoff Bloes (born June 3, 1985) is a former American soccer player. Career College Bloes attended Middletown High School and played college soccer at Shippensburg University, where he set new school records for goals (51) and points (130), and finished second in school history with 28 assists. As a senior in 2007, he scored 13 goals and 35 points en route to his second straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Athlete of the Year Award; he was also named the Division II Northeast Region Player of the Year. Milton Blanco (born April 27, 1984) is an American former soccer player who is currently an assistant coach for Central Valley Fuego FC in USL League One. Dustin Bixler (born December 21, 1982 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania) is a former American soccer player who spent his entire career with Harrisburg City Islanders. Career College Bixler attended Red Land High School and was a four-year starter at Lock Haven University, playing 71 career games and earning All-Conference honors in 2002, 2003, and 2004. Sam Bishop
Sam Bishop, (born March 1, 1983 in Moorestown Township, New Jersey) is a U.S. soccer goalkeeper. Bishop grew up in Moorestown Township and attended Lehigh University, playing on the men's soccer team from 2001 to 2004.
