All-time DDR-Oberliga Table
The all-time DDR-Oberliga table is a cumulative record of all match results, points, and goals of every team that played in the former East Germany's first division DDR-Oberliga from its inception in 1949 until its dissolution in 1991 following German reunification. It awards two points for a win and one point for a draw, as this was the system in use at the time. The matches of the transition round made necessary by the adoption of a Soviet-style calendar year schedule in 1955 are not included. In its final season (1990–91), the competition was known as the NOFV-Oberliga, before becoming part of the German Football Association (german: Deutscher Fußball-Bund, DFB). Although Berliner FC Dynamo are record champions, winning a total of 10 titles, FC Carl Zeiss Jena lead the ranking by points. Wismut Aue, however, hold the record for most seasons, 38. FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt is a German association football club based in Erfurt, Thuringia. History Foundation to World War II The club has roots that go back to a cricket club founded in 1895. As they broadened their interests they came to be called ''Sport Club Erfurt''. The club was a founding member of the German Football Association in 1900 and in 1904 they joined the ''Verband Mitteldeutscher Ballspielvereine'' (Central German Football League). The side won the league championship in 1908–09 and advanced as far as the semi final of the national round where they lost to the eventual champion. Fortuna Babelsberg is a German football club from the south-eastern part of the city (''Am Stern'') of Potsdam in Brandenburg. A former top-flight East German side, they currently play in the Landesklasse Brandenburg-West, the eighth tier of the German football league system. History The history of the club begins with the 1906 establishment of ''Concordia Babelsberg''. The club was lost in 1933 when left-leaning worker's sports clubs were disbanded under the Third Reich. A side more politically palatable to the regime was formed in 1934 as ''VfL Eintracht 06 Babelsberg''. The Sachsenliga, formerly referred to as ''Landesliga Sachsen'', is the sixth tier of the German football league system and the highest league in the German state of Saxony (German: ''Sachsen''). Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fifth tier of the league system, until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the fourth tier. BSG Stahl Riesa
BSG Stahl Riesa is a German association football club from Riesa in Saxony. History The club was founded as ''SC Riesa'' in 1903 in the cellar of the local pub "Bodega" and was renamed ''Riesaer SV'' two years later. In 1917, they fused with ''FC Wettin'' and went on to play quietly as a local club until 1936 when they advanced to the Gauliga Sachsen, one of sixteen divisions in the top flight of German football during the Third Reich. After World War II the club was dissolved and replaced by the ''SG Riesa'' in late 1945. Three years later the club developed an affiliation with the local steelworkers and came to be known as ''BSG Stahl Riesa''. NOFV-Oberliga Nord
The NOFV-Oberliga Nord is the fifth tier of the German football league system in the northern states of the former East Germany and West Berlin. It covers the German states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and northern Saxony-Anhalt. It is one of fourteen Oberligas in German football. Until the introduction of the 3. Liga in 2008 it was the fourth tier of the league system, and until the introduction of the Regionalligas in 1994 the third tier. FSV Glückauf Brieske-Senftenberg is a German football club from Senftenberg in Brandenburg, currently playing in the Landesliga Brandenburg-Süd (VII). History FSV Glückauf Brieske-Senftenberg was founded on 19 January 1919 as ''Fußballverein Grube Marga'' before becoming ''Fußballsportverein Grube Marga'' in 1928. The Bundesliga (; ), sometimes referred to as the Fußball-Bundesliga () or 1. Bundesliga (), is a professional association football league in Germany.
