Alioune Mbaye Nder (born April 28th 1969, Dakar, Senegal) is a Senegalese singer. Nder takes his name from the ''n'der'', the drum favoured by his griot father. Background A dancer and percussionist in his youth, Nder began his singing career in 1991 with the group Lemzo Diamono, a break-off group from the hugely popular Super Diamono. Lemzo Diamono also included well-known Senegalese guitarist Lamine Faye. In 1993, Nder became Lemzo Diamono's lead vocalist and the band earned a large following over the next few years. In 1995, Nder left Lemzo Diamano to form his own band, the Setsima Group. Nder, whose music until very recently was mostly available only on cassette, is regarded in Senegal as a modern-day griot and a super star of the new (Boul Falé) generation after Youssou N'Dour and Baaba Maal. Papa Alioune N'Diaye known as Badou Ndiaye ( IPA: ; born 27 October 1990) is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Adana Demirspor. Badou began his career with Diambars in his native Senegal before moving to Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt in 2012. After impressing in Norway, he joined Turkish Süper Lig side Osmanlıspor in 2015. He spent two years with Osmanlıspor before joining Galatasaray in August 2017 for a fee of €7.5 million. Alioune Kissima Touré (born 9 September 1978) is a French former professional footballer. He is an attacking midfielder but can play both as a forward or as a winger. Playing career Born in Saint-Denis, Alioune started his career in 1996 with FC Nantes and signed his first professional contract in 1997. Alioune Sarr (September 1, 1908 – July 12, 2001 ) was a Senegalese historian, author and politician whose family gained prominence in the Serer precolonial Kingdom of Sine and Saloum around the 14th century. They also made up the ''"sulbalƃe"'' class of Futa Toro (all in present-day Senegal). Sarr was born at Foundiougne. Alioune Gueye (born February 25, 1987) is a Senegalese footballer. Career Africa Gueye began his professional career in his native Senegal, playing for his hometown team Casa Sport in the Senegal Premier League, before moving to Nigeria in 2006 to playing with Dolphins in the Nigerian Premier League. He helped Dolphins win the Nigerian FA Cup in 2006 and 2007, and played in the CAF Confederation Cup in 2007 and 2008.
