Alicia Haber
Alicia Haber (born 21 October 1946) is a Uruguayan historian, art critic, curator, and teacher. Biography A graduate of the , Alicia Haber took three Fulbright Scholarships in the United States, specializing in history and art criticism. She was the chief curator of the Department of Culture of the from 1988 to 2009. She was an art critic at the newspaper ''El País'' between 1982 and 2009. She has been director of the Virtual Museum of Arts (MUVA) of ''El País'' since its formation in 1996. She has curated numerous exhibition projects for museums and cultural centers in her country and abroad. Montevideo () is the Capital city, capital and List of cities in Uruguay, largest city of Uruguay. According to the 2011 census, the city proper has a population of 1,319,108 (about one-third of the country's total population) in an area of . Montevideo is situated on the southern coast of the country, on the northeastern bank of the Río de la Plata.
