Club Alianza Atlético de Sullana is a Peruvian association football, football club, located in the city of Sullana, Piura region, Piura. The club was founded in 1920 and promoted to the Primera División Peruana, Peruvian Primera División in 1988. They are the only Peruvian top-tier club not based in a state capital. History The club was founded January 18, 1920. It been present for the first time in an end of Peru Cup in 1984 where obtained the subchampionship under Los Espartanos of Pacasmayo. Its income to the Professional Championship obtained it via the Intermediate Phase of 1987. The club has played in the Primera División Peruana since 1988. Alianza has never been national champions since they were promoted. In 1989 it was near to classify to the Copa Libertadores of America, falling 2–0 before Sporting Cristal in an extra match that defined the Campeonato Descentralizado 1989#Liguilla Final, Regional Tournament. Alianza Universidad
Alianza Universidad is a Peruvian association football club, playing in the city of Huánuco. History The club was founded as Alianza Huánuco on January 1, 1939. The club have played at the highest level of Peruvian football on one occasion, in the 1991 Torneo Descentralizado, but was relegated to the 1992 Torneo Zonal. In the 2011 Copa Perú, the club classified to the National Stage, but was eliminated by Real Garcilaso in the semifinals. It was invited to play in the 2012 Peruvian Segunda Division. Alianza Universidad played in the Segunda División tournament five seasons from 2012 until 2016. After not much success with gaining promotion the team decided to retire from the tournament and return to the Copa Perú system in 2017 where it will play from the Departamental Stage. Alianza Lima
Club Alianza Lima, popularly known as Alianza Lima or simply Alianza, is a Peruvian professional sports club based in La Victoria District of Lima, Peru. It is widely known for having one of the most historical and successful football teams in Peru; they have won a total of twenty-five league titles of the Peruvian Primera División and are currently the oldest team playing in that competition, since the club was founded in 1901. Alianza's home stadium is the Estadio Alejandro Villanueva, named after Alejandro Villanueva, one of the most important players in the club's history. The stadium is also popularly known as ''Matute'', name of the neighbourhood in which it is located. Alianza enjoyed success throughout the first decades of their professional era. Alianza (Argentine Band)
Alianza ( es, Alliance) was an Argentine hard rock band, with former members of Rata Blanca. History Alianza was created by the singer Adrián Barilari and the keyboard player Hugo Bistolfi, along with session musicians. Barilari and Bistolfi left Rata Blanca, rejecting the style shift initiated in ''El Libro Oculto'', with more aggressive heavy metal. Alianza was focused instead in ballads and hard rock. Rata Blanca lost popularity without Barilari, and broke up. Barilari and Bistolfi were invited to a concert of Walter Giardino Temple, the new band of Rata Blanca's leader Walter Giardino. This concert led to a reunion of Rata Blanca, with Barilari and Bistolfi, and the subsequent breakup of Alianza. Alianza (Anglo-Chilean Band)
Show of Hands is an English acoustic roots/folk duo formed in 1986 by singer-songwriter Steve Knightley (guitars, mandolin, mandocello, cuatro) and composer and multi-instrumentalist Phil Beer (vocals, guitars, violin, viola, mandolin, mandocello). Joined by singer and double-bassist Miranda Sykes for a tour in 2004, Show of Hands continued to regularly perform as a trio with Sykes, as well as in their original format. The Alliance ( es, Alianza), previously known as Alliance for Chile ( es, Alianza por Chile), was a coalition of centre-right to right-wing Chilean political parties. The Alliance was replaced between 2009 and 2012 by the Coalition for Change. After the 2012 municipal elections, the coalition returned to its original name. In 2015 was replaced with Chile Vamos. Alianza Islámica
From the late 1980s to the mid-2000s, Alianza Islámica was the largest and most influential Latino Muslim organization in U.S. history. It was co-founded in New York City's fabled Spanish Harlem by three Puerto Rican Muslims - John (Yahya) Figueroa, Ramon (Rahim) Ocasio, and Freddie (Ibrahim) Gonzalez, who all lived within five blocks of each other.
