Ali Rıza Binboğa (born 26 February 1950) is a Turkish singer. Life He was born in 1950 in the small village of Ördekli in Sarız district of Kayseri Province. He first met with music in 1964 when he was selected as one of the sixteen students who attended a music seminar organized in Ankara After completing his secondary education in Kayseri, he attended Istanbul Technical University and in 1973, graduated as an electronics engineer. Before 1975, he served in Turkish PTT. He is married and a father of three children. Career His first public appearance as a singer was in Turkish under contest for Eurovision Song Contest 1975. His entry was named ''Yarınlar Bizim'' ("Tomorrows are ours") a dynamic melody with lyrics which were interpreted to be politic messages. The country was represented by Semiha Yankı with the song "Seninle Bir Dakika" written by Hikmet Münir Ebcioğlu and composed by Kemal Ebcioğlu. It came last in the Eurovision 1975. The Turkish Radio and Television Corporation (TRT; Turkish : ) is the national public broadcaster of Turkey, founded in 1964. TRT was for many years the only television and radio provider in Turkey. The Eurovision Song Contest 1975 was the 20th edition of the annual Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Stockholm, Sweden, following the country's victory at the with the song " Waterloo" by ABBA. Organised by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) and host broadcaster Sveriges Radio (SR), the contest was held at Stockholmsmässan on 22 March 1975, and was hosted by Swedish television director Karin Falck. It was the first time that the contest had taken place in Sweden. Nineteen countries participated in the contest, beating the previous record of eighteen, that was first set in the 1965 edition. France and Malta returned after their one-year and two-year absences, respectively. Turkey made its debut, while Greece decided not to enter after its debut the year prior. The Kayseri Province ( tr, ) is situated in central Turkey. The population is 1,434,357 of which around 1,175,876 live in the city of Kayseri.
