Ali Aguilar
Alison Paige Aguilar (born August 28, 1995) is an American, former collegiate All-American, medal-winning Olympian, softball player at shortstop. She played college softball at Washington from 2014 to 2017 where she was named a three-time First Team All-Pac-12 and a National Fastpitch Coaches Association Second and Third Team All-American in her last two years. She won the Cowles Cup with the Scrap Yard Dawgs of the National Pro Fastpitch in 2017. She also played professionally in Japan. She represented Team USA at the 2020 Summer Olympics and won a silver medal. Early life Aguilar was born in Roseville, California to parents Mark and Kristin Aguilar. Shortstop
Shortstop, abbreviated SS, is the baseball or softball fielding position between second and third base, which is considered to be among the most demanding defensive positions. Historically the position was assigned to defensive specialists who were typically poor at batting and were often placed at the bottom of the batting order. Softball At The 2019 Pan American Games
Softball competitions at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru are scheduled to be held from July 25 to August 10. The venue for the competition is the softball stadium located at the Villa María del Triunfo cluster. Heather Tarr
Heather Robyn Tarr (born October 5, 1974) is an American, former collegiate softball third baseman, and is the current head coach at Washington. Tarr become one of five coaches/athletes to have played and coached in the Women's College World Series, playing in the 1996 Women's College World Series as well the 1997 Women's College World Series, and coaching the Huskies at the 2009 Women's College World Series. She was the first coach to win a title with her alma mater when the Huskies won the national championship in 2009. Casa Roble High School
Casa Roble Fundamental High School is a public high school located in Orangevale, California. It is a part of the San Juan Unified School District with a student body of approximately 1250 students from northern Orangevale and a portion of Citrus Heights. Academic Curriculum Casa Roble uses the 4x4 block schedule in which students have four, 90 minutes classes per term. This allows for one more class per school year versus the normal seven class, full year schedule. To graduate a student must pass the Senior Project and possess a grand total of 280 credits. Under the "Refuse to Fail" program, implemented in 2008 by principal Christopher Klyse, students with failing grades in classes are required to turn in all work and receive mandatory tutoring until their grades are passing. National Pro Fastpitch (NPF), formerly the Women's Pro Softball League (WPSL), was a professional women's softball league in the United States. The teams battled for the Cowles Cup.
