Ali Afif
Ali Hassan Afif Yahya ( ar, علي حسن عفيف يحيى; born 20 January 1988) is a Qatari footballer. He currently plays as a left-back for Al-Duhail. Personal Afif has six siblings. His father, Hassan Afif, is of Somali descent and was born in Moshi, Tanzania. His father previously played for Simba in Tanzania and Horseed in Somalia before relocating to Qatar and playing for Al Ittihad. He was later naturalized. After retiring, he managed Al Gharafa from 1986 till 1987 and Al Markhiya from 2001 till 2003 and 2006 till 2007. His mother, Fayza, comes from Yemen. He has a brother, Akram Afif, who is also a member of Qatar's football team. He currently plays for Al Sadd. Qatar National Football Team
The Qatar national football team ( ar, منتخب قطر لكرة القدم) represents Qatar in international football, and is controlled by the Qatar Football Association and AFC. The team has appeared in ten Asian Cup tournaments and won it once in 2019, beating Japan, Saudi Arabia, and South Korea in the process, conceding just one goal. They play their home games at Khalifa International Stadium and Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. The latter is considered the home stadium for the team. Qatar hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup and therefore qualified automatically for what was their first appearance in the finals. It was the first time an Arab nation hosted the competition. Horseed FC
Horseed FC is a Somali football club based in Mogadishu, Somalia. It was founded in 1971 by Lt. Col Mohamed Ahmed Alim, who started the Somali Armed Forces Sports Directorate recruiting from the ranks of the Army. It is seven times champion of the Somalia League. A team of Somali Armed Forces, Horseed SC was among the most formidable and recognized football clubs in the country. After the civil war broke out, it discontinued operations, but has been revived in 2013 by Gen Dahir Aden Elmi Commander of the Somalia Armed Forces. Gen Elmi revived all the different teams of Horseed Sports Club with emphasis on the Football Team which again began to compete in the Somalia Serie A league. , also known as , is a multi-purpose stadium in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, which opened in March 1998. It is the home stadium of Yokohama F. Marinos of the J1 League. The Thani bin Jassim Stadium (), also known as the Al-Gharrafa Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in the Al Gharrafa district of Doha, Qatar. It is currently used mostly for football matches.
