Alhassan Wakaso
Alhassan Wakaso (born 7 January 1992) is a Ghanaian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder or a central defender for Portuguese club Leixões. Club career Born in Tamale, Wakaso arrived in Portugal in 2009 at the age of 17, signing with Portimonense S.C. in the second division. On 28 October of the following year, when he was still a junior, he made his debut for the first team, featuring in a 2–3 away loss against C.D. Aves in the second round in the League Cup. Wakaso was definitely promoted to the Algarve club's main squad for the 2011–12 season. On 23 December 2012, with the side still in the second level, he scored his first goal as a professional, in a 2–1 league win at Vitória S.C. B. Wakaso moved to the Primeira Liga on 20 June 2013, signing with Rio Ave F.C. for three years. Tamale (Dagbani : ), officially called Tamale Metropolitan Area is the capital city of the Northern Region of Ghana. Mubarak Wakaso ( ar, مبارك واكاسو; born 25 July 1990) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays for Belgian club K.A.S. Eupen, on loan from Shenzhen F.C., and the Ghana national team as a midfielder. He spent the better part of his career in Spain, starting out at Elche in 2008 and going on to also represent Villarreal, Espanyol, Las Palmas, Granada and Alavés. The Mauritania national football team ( ar, منتخب موريتانيا لكرة القدم), nicknamed Al-Murabitun in the reference to Almoravid dynasty, represents Mauritania in men's international football. The 2019–20 Primeira Liga (also known as Liga NOS for sponsorship reasons) was the 86th season of the Primeira Liga, the top professional league for Portuguese association football clubs. Ligue 1, officially known as Ligue 1 Uber Eats for sponsorship reasons, is a French professional league for men's association football clubs. At the top of the French football league system, it is the country's primary football competition. A transfer window is the period during the year in which a football club can transfer players from other playing staff into their playing staff. Such a transfer is completed by registering the player into the new club through FIFA. "Transfer window" is the unofficial term commonly used by the media for the concept of "registration period" as described in the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.
