Alfredo De Angelis
Alfredo De Angelis (2 November 1910, Adrogué — 31 March 1992) was an Argentinian musician, most notable as a composer, a pianist, and a director of a tango orchestra during the Grand Era of Argentine tango. De Angelis was born in Adrogué south of Buenos Aires. He started his musical career by accompanying the singer Juan Giliberti, and then joined the orchestra of Anselmo Aieta as a pianist. He continued changing affiliations until 1940, until he started to create his own orchestra in 1940. The orchestra gave the first concert in café Marzotto in Buenos Aires on March 20, 1941, quickly achieved popularity, and was invited for records. De Angelis is noted for choosing good singers. The first singer in De Angelis's orchestra was Floreal Ruiz, and others included Carlos Dante, Julio Martel, Oscar Larroca, Roberto Florio, and Roberto Mancini. Adrogué
Adrogué () is a city in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina, located 23 km south of Buenos Aires. It is the administrative headquarters for Almirante Brown Partido (county). At slightly more than 30,000 inhabitants, it is a prominent residential area, with numerous cobbled streets, lush trees and several squares. In addition, it has an important commercial center, with a variety of shops and banks. History In March 1873, Governor Mariano Acosta approved the projected sketch map for this town and named it ''Almirante Brown''. Odeon Records is a record label founded in 1903 by Max Straus and Heinrich Zuntz of the International Talking Machine Company in Berlin, Germany. The label's name and logo come from the Odéon-Théâtre de l'Europe in Paris. History Straus and Zuntz bought the company from Carl Lindström that he had founded in 1897. Roberto Mancini (singer)
Roberto Mancini (; born 27 November 1964) is an Italian football manager and former player. He is the head coach of the Saudi Arabia national football team. As a player, Mancini operated as a deep-lying forward, and was best known for his time at Sampdoria, where he played more than 550 matches, and helped the team win the Serie A league title, four Coppa Italia titles, and the European Cup Winners' Cup. He was capped 36 times for Italy, taking part at UEFA Euro 1988 and the 1990 FIFA World Cup, achieving semi-final finishes in both tournaments, although he was never put onto the pitch during the 1990 tournament.
