The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs ( sq, Ministria për Europën dhe Punët e Jashtme) is a department of the Albanian Government, in charge of diplomacy, foreign policy and the process of admission of Albania into the European Union. Ilir Boçka
Ilir Boçka (born January 10, 1950) is an Albanian career diplomat, currently serving as Albania's Ambassador to Serbia. He briefly served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1991 to 1992. Life and career Ilir Boçka was born on January 10, 1950 in Gjirokastër, People's Republic of Albania. Boçka graduated with a Law Degree in 1975 from the University of Tirana. From 1972 to 1980, he worked as journalist with the Albanian News Agency (ATA). He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in June 1981, when he was appointed as the Head of the Press and Information Directory at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Sali Berisha
Sali Ram Berisha (; born 15 October 1944) is an Albanian conservative politician and former cardiologist who served as the second President of Albania from 1992 to 1997 and Prime Minister from 2005 to 2013. He is also the current chairman of the Democratic Party of Albania which has been disputed. On 9 September 2021 Berisha was expelled by party chairman Lulzim Basha from the Democratic Party's Parliamentary Group due to legal issues with the US Department of State.
