Raúl Alfonsín
Raúl Ricardo Alfonsín (12 March 1927 – 31 March 2009) was an Argentine lawyer and statesman who served as President of Argentina from 10 December 1983 to 8 July 1989. He was the first democratically elected president after more than seven years of military dictatorship, and is considered the "father of modern democracy in Argentina". Ideologically, he identified as a Radical and a social democrat, serving as the leader of the Radical Civic Union from 1983 to 1991, 1993 to 1995, 1999 to 2001, with his political approach being known as "Alfonsinism". Born in Chascomús, Buenos Aires Province, Alfonsín began his studies of law at the National University of La Plata and was a graduate of the University of Buenos Aires. Ricardo Alfonsín
Ricardo Luis Alfonsín (born 2 November 1951) is an Argentine lawyer, academic and politician prominent in the Radical Civic Union. His father, Raúl Alfonsín, was the President of Argentina from 1983 to 1989. Since 2019, he has been Argentina's ambassador to Spain. Early life and education Ricardo Luis Alfonsín was born in Chascomús son of María Lorenza Barreneche and Raúl Alfonsín; the latter was at the time a local lawyer and councilman active in the centrist Radical Civic Union (UCR). Ricardo Alfonsín earned a degree in education at the Chascomús Teachers College, and taught civics in local secondary schools, later earning a law degree at the University of Buenos Aires. Alfonso González Fernández (born 16 July 1951), commonly known as Alfonsín, is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a defender, and a manager. Football career Born in Cortegana, Huelva, Andalusia, Alfonsín began working as a coach with UD Almería B, being promoted to Tercera División in 2002. On 26 January 2004, he was appointed at the helm of the main squad, replacing fired Casuco. However, Alfonsín only remained one game in charge, being later replaced by Luis Ángel Duque. After the latter's resignment in April he returned, narrowly avoiding relegation despite finishing 13th. Alfonsín returned to the ''Rojiblancos'' on 29 January 2005, replacing Fernando Castro Santos. Alfonsine ( rgn, Agl'infulsẽ or ''Agl'infulsèn'') is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the province of Ravenna in the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. It is located east of Bologna and northwest of Ravenna. It is located between the Senio River and the Adriatic Sea. Its economy is based mostly on agriculture, especially wine and fruit production. The alfonsino (''Beryx decadactylus''), also known as the alfonsin, longfinned beryx, red bream, or imperador, is a species of deepwater berycid fish of the order Beryciformes. It can be found in temperate and subtropical ocean waters nearly worldwide, though it is uncommon. It is typically associated with deep-sea corals, and schools are known to form over seamounts. Adults are demersal and search for prey along the ocean floor, primarily fish, cephalopods, and crustaceans. Like other members of its family, it is remarkably long-lived, with individuals reaching ages of up to 69 years, and possibly longer. It can reach sizes of up to in length and in weight and is targeted by commercial fisheries.
