Alfonso Frazer
Alfonso Gerald Frazer (born January 4, 1948) is a former Panamanian boxer who held the Lineal and WBA Light welterweight titles. He lost the belt in his first defense by knockout to Antonio Cervantes later that year, and also lost a rematch to Cervantes by TKO in 1973.He fought future champion Aaron Pryor in 1979 and was TKO'd in the fifth round. Light welterweight, also known as junior welterweight or super lightweight, is a weight class in combat sports. Boxing Professional boxing In professional boxing, light welterweight is contested between the lightweight and welterweight divisions, in which boxers weigh above 61.2kg or 135 pounds and up to 63.5 kg or 140 pounds. Erubey ''Chango'' Carmona is a Mexican former professional boxer who won the WBC lightweight title in 1972. Carmona is believed to be the boxer who began the tradition of having a big fight on the Mexico Independence Day holiday weekend when he stopped Mando Ramos in the eighth round to win the lightweight title in Los Angeles on Sept. 15, 1972. Chango lost a combined 4 fights to two fighters. He lost to Arturo Morales in back to back fights in 1965 and 1966, and he lost to Alfredo ''El Canelo'' Urbina back to back in 1967.
