Alfie Devine
Alfie Sean Devine (born 1 August 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for club Tottenham Hotspur. Early life Devine was born on 1 August 2004 in Warrington. He is the son of Claire Devine, a Human Resources professional and former rugby league Sean Devine, who played for St Helens from 1986 to 1991, and Oldham from 1992 to 1993. Club career Devine was an academy player of Liverpool. He was released when he was 11 and, four months later, he joined Wigan Athletic. He made his under-23 debut aged 15, and was part of the team that beat Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the 2019–20 FA Youth Cup, coming on as a late substitute. He started in the quarter-final against Manchester United at Old Trafford. He was signed by Wigan on 6 June 2020. However, Wigan went into administration less than a month later, and he was then sold to Tottenham Hotspur on 28 July for around £300,000. Old Trafford () is a football stadium in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England, and the home of Manchester United. St George's Park (SGP) is the English Football Association's national football centre (NFC) built on a site at Burton upon Trent, Staffordshire. Dane Pharrell Scarlett (born 24 March 2004) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Portsmouth, on loan from Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur. Club career Scarlett was part of the Tottenham Under-18s team in the 2019–20 season, however, the season ended prematurely for him after a knee injury. He started playing with the first team in the pre-season friendly matches in August 2020, but returned to the Under-18s at the start of the 2020–21 season. The 2011 Helmand Province killing was the manslaughter of a wounded Taliban insurgent by Alexander Blackman, which occurred on 15 September 2011. Three Royal Marines, known during their trial as Marines A, B, and C, were anonymously tried by court martial. On 8 November 2013, Marines B and C were acquitted, but Blackman (Marine A) was initially found guilty of murder of the Afghan insurgent, in contravention of section 42 of the Armed Forces Act 2006. This made him the first British soldier to be convicted of a battlefield murder whilst serving abroad since the Second World War. On 6 December 2013, Blackman was sentenced to life imprisonment with a minimum term of ten years, and dismissed with disgrace from the Royal Marines.
