Alf Mintzel
Alf Mintzel is a German former professional footballer who played as a left-back or midfielder. Career Mintzel started off his career at his local club, ASV Rimpar. There he was picked up by Würzburger FV. He stayed for two years before moving to SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He was in Fürth for only a year before joining 1. SC Feucht. After less than a year he got an offer from rivals Kickers Offenbach, which he accepted. He played for Offenbach for two years, before joining SV Sandhausen for three years. In 2010, he left the club and joined his current team SV Wehen Wiesbaden SV Wehen Wiesbaden is a German association football club based in Wiesbaden, Hesse. Since the beginning of the 2007–08 season the club no longer plays its home games in Taunusstein, where they were originally located. Kickers is a youth brand created in 1970 in France that produces a wide range of footwear and clothing. Kickers was bought in 2007 by the Royer group. Kickers are primarily popular amongst British school children, with Kickers 'Lo' style shoes being a popular choice of school shoes for British boys attending secondary school. In the sport of association football, a defender is an outfield position whose primary role is to stop attacks during the game and prevent the opposition from scoring.
